"Thought we would give the local Dough Deli a try, as had good reviews on social media. We ordered two Pizzas for collection that evening, total cost £17.20 which I felt reasonable. We collected at the allotted time and brought them home. We had a Meat Feast and a Sausage and Sweet Chilli toppings. Both tasted delicious, my only negative comment is that both should have been cooked a little longer. Both bases were, we felt undercooked, very doughy and chewy would have benefited from a little longer in the over to crisp and colour them up. Would we order again most certainly and probably just ask if the bases could be given a little longer in the oven."

I’ve now tried their pizza and bacon butty and both were amazing. Very friendly owner and nothing seems to be too much trouble

I stopped in while traveling to York for work and discovered this hidden gem! The food and coffee here are much better than what you would find at the big chain restaurants.

A delightful couple runs this restaurant, and they were very welcoming. The bacon sandwich I ordered was exceptional, as it was made with their freshly baked bread straight out of the oven.

Very friendly welcoming staff, nothing is too much trouble. Ordered 3 large bacon sandwiches. Home made fresh bread, properly cooked quality bacon! A rare find now-a-days. Will be back regularly as they really are one of the best bacon butties around! Thank you.

Phoned through an order and was told it would be fresh baked and ready in 20 minutes and it was. Generous toppings; the newly introduced Crayfish Tail topped pizza was truly scrumptious. Friendly, helpful service and reasonable pricing. This was much better than the “chain” pizza restaurants. Pretty good all round. We’ll be back.

Really good local bakery, great range of bread all made daily on the premises, the recent addition, golden loaf is not to be missed. Also after range of hot and cold sandwiches, tray bakes, panini and pizzas, along with a selection of coffees, teas and cold drinks. Also have pizza nights on Friday and Saturday evenings. Family owned by two of the nicest people you could wish to meet. View menu

I absolutely adore this charming bakery and shop - everything is delicious. From the bread and tea cakes to the pies, pastries, and sweet treats, everything is top-notch. The staff is fantastic - always attentive and willing to help. Their coffee is hands down the best in Easingwold. We're looking forward to trying their pizzas tonight, and I have a feeling we won't be disappointed. Whether you choose to sit inside or outside, you can count on them to take great care of you.

"We arrived here for a 2 night stay for a wedding (Fri sat night). PROS: Lynsey the manageress she 100% makes it so fabulous. Lovely, welcoming, looked after us brilliantly. Due to some staff shortages, she was doing what seemed like 10 jobs at once! We ate on one of the nights food was delicious! Great service tasty food. Breakfast was also spot on set us up brilliantly for the day ahead on the Saturday! The Willow room which we stayed in was fab ideal size, lovely cosy too! The whole 2 night stay was extremely reasonably priced the place itself has a great feel about it like a big cosy house! CONS: If you like total darkness, take an eye mask for sleeping as the rooms can get really bright from the early hours. Also, depending on the room, it’s on quite a busy road so can be quite nosy it would be worth having earplugs if you like a quiet surrounding. Due to staffing, the bar doesn’t stay open that late, so be mindful of this, they will however put drinks in your room if you can’t make it back in time for the bar closing. Taxis there are no local taxis, so arranging transport to the wedding we were attending was a nightmare which we didn’t account for! Luckily after 6 different phone calls, we managed to get sorted. The only gripe I had was the confusion over the bill if you decide to charge things to your room, the bills aren’t itemised so it’s difficult to keep track of what has been charged. There was some confusion on checkout over what we should shouldn’t have been charged for, so definitely choose to pay for any extras outright to avoid any confusion or uncertainty before check out. Other than that, it was one of the nicest, most personal stays we’ve had out in a long long time. This was mainly down to the Manageress Lynsey who is fabulous at her job really does make it feel like home makes you feel super welcomed relaxed. Thank you lynsey for really making a stay a one to remember."
