"Travelling with two celiacs, who don’t eat seafood, is pretty tough in Barcelona. For my wife and stepdaughter it’s been pretty much nothing but chicken paella with potato tapas. To their delight, this restaurant recently started GF pizzas, (not yet indicated on their menu, but we took a chance and asked hostess). They loved it, saying crust was good, (celiacs understand a good GF crust), but mostly just a nice change for them. The pizza is ‘medium’ sized, and was nicely shared between the two. Small extra charge, (2.50€, I think). I had the Tapas meal for one, with a salad, mixed tapas, (typical quality from most places in tourist areas), and half bottle of wine. We all walked away full and happy, and felt value was really good. I have no doubt Downtown will see us again in the next week."

Don’t get it if you are alone. Almost only rise: It tasted okay though. I do not recommend it. I’m still hungry:

Slow service, terrible food. The most discounted ingredients stowed together with a catastrophic result. Please avoid this place. View menu

This place is great we had to eat there twice. We had Meat platter and seafood platter and it was fresh and delicious. Second time we had pizza and we were not disappointed. When we come back to Barcelona we will definitely visit again.

Very low key restaurant. The atmosphere and the food was passable but the server was disgraceful, (mid aged man), elbow near food, took drinks when wasn’t finished, plates when wasn’t finished, just overall he was very moody. Would go again if the greasy man wasn’t waitering.

This restaurant had a nice look to it and had an enticing menu however... The meat paella for two consisted of 6 small pieces of chicken on the bone (so by the time you’d taken it off the bone you had less than a nibble) It was bland and tasteless and was basically a dish of yellow rice. The Male waiter/owner was very grumpy, aloof and did the restaurant no favours. The experience left a bad taste in the mouth on many levels. Avoid this one
