En nuestro viaje de 10 días a España, tomamos la mejor sangría en este lugar. También comimos las gambas pil pil (camarones confitados al ajillo) y estaban para morirse. ¡Una joya escondida! El dueño fue amable y acogedor. View menu

The service is professional and very friendly. We opted for grilled pork ribs and grilled rib-eye steak with au gratin potatoes truffle purée. The portions are big. The pork ribs were perfectly à point and tender. Atmospheric place in the middle of the village center of Ojén.

Un sitio auténtico. Hemos comido rosada, croquetas de choco y albondigones y estaba todo MUY BUENO. Hasta el pan, era pan riquísimo. Peor servicio del mundo, la vieja cobra al precio que le da ganas sobre el momento, amable como una piedra, tarda horas a ser atendido y años a ser servido.. Muy sorprendido con la simpatía del dueño Pedro y su esposa en la cocina Paqui. Comimos de lujo en un bar con tapas, mi recomendación es la tapa de patatas fritas caseras, el rabo de toro estofado, pulpo frito y los postres caseros: mouse de higos, turrón y panacota. Queríamos probar la especialidad: el arroz con bogavante pero a la próxima Sin duda volveré

Disappointingly rude aggressive service. The food was unsatisfying, bland and poorly prepared. For example the fried squid had other fried items on the plate indicating it was prepared together with other fried foods not ordered. After pointing out an issue with the food I was yelled at and pointed in the face by the staff which is quite unheard of. Do yourself a favor and steer clear unless you are just getting a drink.

I was recommended to try this , as the bar did a great paella. Having found it 10 mins above La canada, you take the lower road and can drive into the centre drop everyone off and then park down the bottom and walk back up. Firstly not a word of english is spoken but you can get yourself understood , the menu is basic salads,pil pil, tapas and meat/fish- unfortuantely paella was not on the menu currently. We ordered and drinks which were cheap came quickly , as did our first dish of avocado and tomato salad, which was extremely tasty and plentiful. The mains which came were piping hot and freshly made, the dover sole was huge with great chips (all for 8 euro's) , the fried salt cod and chips... View menu
