"Located in the Valle del Suave, is this small town called Pueblo Astur, a 5-star hotel. For me it is a mixture of classic and modern. Formerly it was a noble house and inside it there are 30 rooms, lounges to enjoy a good drink, a game of chess or a reading. This ECO resort located 15km from Cangas de Onís, and 6.7km from Arriondas, has routes around it, the Fitu viewpoint and the Asturias Jurassic Park Museum (Muja). My family and I have stayed in the junior suite, and we have enjoyed their Slow Food cuisine in the Puebloastur restaurant, the terrace is a privilege, eating with views of the Picos de Europa. They also have a restaurant for private events called El Halcón. The Nature spa is a real luxury, it has treatments for all tastes and the hydrotherapy has several jets, a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath, contrast showers, bubble beds, an outdoor Jacuzzi, a cold pool, etc. The price is not bad for everything it includes, it is spacious, and it has a relaxation area to have an infusion or water. A rural, relaxing and comforting experience in the middle of nature. We have rested, we have woken up with the sound of the birds and the variety of breakfasts with local gastronomy products. You can choose between the buffet served table or a la carte. The infinity pool is a joy, in the afternoon when the day is already clear, the views are cinematic. If you decide to have lunch or dinner at the restaurant, they have off-the-carte dishes, such as fish freshly brought from the Tazones market or meat from the area's pastures. Excellence and attention to detail are reflected in every aspect of the ECO Resort. I recommend this hotel for its quality, service and for the wellness experience. "De las mejores experiencias gastronómicas que he vivido. Tenía muchas ganas de probar este sitio y he aprovechado mi visita a Asturias para darme el homenaje. Se encuentra perdido entre aldeas y la vista desde la mesa era maravillosa, montañas, campo, vacas y pitus. Nos decantamos por el menú intermedio de 165€ y quedamos muy contentos. No teníamos previsto hacer maridaje pero pensé que era el lugar adecuado para hacer el de sidras, la mejor elección que hice. Una variedad de sidras que dudo puedas probar en otros lugares. Además pedimos el arroz con pitu de Caleya y estaba delicioso, sabía a hogar. Las croquetas deliciosas, la kombucha muy curiosa, nunca he probado un salmón tan al punto como el que comimos aquí. La coliflor me pareció muy curiosa, uno de mis platos favoritos. Las judías verdes con bogavante me fliparon y las verdinas muy ricas. Para mi flojean un poco los postres y me quedé con muchas ganas de probar su fabada. Habrá que volver."

"Llevo debatiendo conmigo misma, desde que he comido hoy en este sitio, si debo o no hacer este comentario. . Acabo de decidir que sí. Vaya por delante que lo que voy a exponer aquí, se lo he manifestado al camarero que nos atendió, después de pagar la cuenta. Aqui se come bien. Es una cocina sólida, con muy buen producto, y un servicio correcto y eficaz. Al pedir, el camarero os ha sugerido, pues nos apetecía pescado, tomar rey fuera de carta . Hemos aceptado. Bien es verdad que no hemos preguntado el precio, y ahí estuvo el error. Creo que, en caso de no venir en la carta, es obligación del restaurante advertir del coste del producto. No lo han hecho. Reitero que tampoco lo hemos preguntado, pero es que pienso que, en un sitio con la trayectoria de este, la buena fé se supone. El rey costaba 40 €, 13 € más que la lubina salvaje 27 € y 11 € más que el besugo 29 € , que si figuraban en la carta. No voy a entrar en el precio que pueda alcanzar determinado pez en la rula. Sólo digo que, francamente, es sospechoso que te recomieden un producto que excede en mucho el precio de lo demás de lo que hay en la carta y se olviden de decir el coste. , Me cuesta creer en estas casualidades. Vuelvo a decir que no hemos preguntado Pero me parece que, en un negocio honesto, no hubiese sido necesario"

"We visited in August 2015 during the local Semana Grande , (the local holiday , so the place was crammed. Nevertheless the service was quite prompt and courteous. The place is rustic, plain and frugal, but the menu is indeed a joy to behold, with loads of dishes you will only be able to sample in Asturias. We ordered a Tabla de Quesos Asturianos (Asturian cheese platter which could easily have fed 10 people. Absolutely perfect and definitely worth trying if you visit Asturias. Also, Bonito a la Plancha, which is some sort of Cantabrian white tuna you can only find in the north of Spain and only two or three months a year. It was spectacular, and -again- massive, as it came with a mound of homemade chips and a generous salad. Particularly original was the patatas with 3 sauces (brava, ali oli, as well as the local cabrales . It tasted ace and was served, uniquely with three pots for the sauces (see photos attached . Good value for money. Would like to return."
