"I went on a date night with a beautiful friend of mine who had reserved a table in advance. However, I arrived 30 minutes late due to a mix-up with the time. The staff were great and found humor in my lateness. They led me straight to the table where my date was patiently waiting with a bottle of red wine already opened. We ordered a set meal for three as I have a big appetite and enjoyed the delicious starters of olives, bread, ham, and cheese. The mains were equally satisfying and we indulged in various tasty dishes. We also shared a second bottle of red wine and topped off the meal with chocolate mint ice cream for dessert. The night was fantastic, the staff were lovely, the venue had a great ambience, and I highly recommend El Coto. Overall, it was a great experience and I give it full marks."

This venue is excellent for pre-game meals. I had a great experience with friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, and they even rearranged tables to fit our group.

beautiful little restaurant! the tapas has a blend of vegan, vegetarian, gluten- and milk-free options, I had the cherry-pear, lentil stew and potato with spicy tomato sauce, it was really delicious!

this was my first experience with Spanish eating in newcastle and the service was very warm, although my English was not very good. in contrast to our last Turkish restaurant (we were ignored and felt unfairly treated) that was a great restaurant.

we have one of the set menus. there were four of us, and I didn't like tapas because I'm hungry to go home! but I was very pleasantly surprised. they brought out the cold tapas first and then the warm dishes. Eat was amazing and I went home with a full booze and content with a beautiful birthday meal.
