"I was looking for a good restaurant to celebrate an anniversary, something out of common and certainly it was an excellent choice! Located outside Bonn but easy access from the motorway 565. Good weather to eat outside in the garden, sheltered by ancient trees, with Hortencia's in blossom, a quiet and pleasant setup. Friendly ladies serving, helping with the choice of wine. The menu very attractive and with several choices like, for instance Mediterranean sardines taken by my wife or Castilian's suckling pig. My choice was the scallops with avocado salad, very tender scallops combining perfectly with the fine vinaigrette of the salad. Both starters delicious!As main course We both had fish. My wife had it with gamba son a salad, mine came with rice and vegetables, both excellent! The Spanish house merlot very finely tuned and the alioli served with the bread irresistible!This restaurant has not only very good food but also a good ambience and relaxed staff, all together contributed to a pleasant evening. Not surprising that the staff and the chef inquired personally if everything was to our satisfaction and showed us their fresh products.With such a talented and motivated chef running El Dorado is a pleasure to recommend the restaurant as one of the best in the Bonn area. Heute haben wir wieder hervorragend gegessen. Vorspeise Avocadosalat mit Jacobsmuscheln danach einmal gegrilltes Barschfilet und Steinbutt mit Loup de mere. Dazu noch leckere Weine, alles perfekt.

Mit Abstand der beste Spanier in Bonn. Empfehlenswert sind immer die Gerichte von der Tageskarte und die Tapas. Es geht nichts über ein gepflegtes Abendessen auf der Terasse des El Dorado im Sommer.

Ein echt toller Laden! Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und der Service verdient 6 Sterne. Alle sind super höflich, aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein UND das Essen ist seeeehhhhhrrrr lecker! Eine echte 10 von 10!! Da war ich ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal, auch wenn ich ein ganzes Stück fahren muss. Mein Kumpel und ich hatten einen super Abend. Besten Dank nochmal für die schöne Zeit!

Wieder mal in Bonn und wieder im El Dorado. Das Restaurant war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt. Wir hatten zum Glück reserviert. Trotz des Betriebes wurden wir nett und freundlich Empfangen. Zuerst genehmigte ich mir ein paar Austern. Super frisch und perfekt geöffnet. Keine abgeplatzten Schalen im inneren und das Fleisch schon gelöst. Die Vorspeisen waren alle super im Geschmack und in der Anrichte. Sie wurden immer a`2 Teller serviert. Damit blieben sie immer schön heiß und man hatte Zeit zum genießen. Der begleitende Wein war auch sehr gut. Uns gefällt auch dasaufstellen der Tafeln. Auf den Tafel stehen noch zusätzlich, auf der einen Seite Vor-speisen, auf der anderen Seite Hauptgericht...
