"We booked for 9pm and arrived punctually. The restaurant wasn't full, there was a big event on in town and most folk seemed to be attending that: but there were still a good number of people in, maybe a couple of dozen. All in all we waited around 40 minutes for our food, a selection of 8 tapas, which to be honest felt a bit on the long side to me. Granted the food was freshly prepared but I still feel as if they were lacking the staff to be able to feed the clientele in a reasonable amount of time. We had a seat on the pavement outside; but the space between our table and the next one, through which pedestrians were forced to pass, was tight. Which leads me to the obvious suggestion: maybe they would have done better with a few less tables, and a consequently reduced waiting time. The food was nice, freshly prepared as I said, and if you're willing to wait then I would recommend it. I personally felt it was much too long for what it was that eventually arrived. At a certain point when I ordered a second round of drinks the waitress replied 'tout de suite' but as this led to a 15 minute wait I began to question my grasp of the French language."

Great restaurant, great food. Paid a little more than I wanted to but it was because I couldn't stop ordering more tapas.

Good quality (and quantity tapas). Waitress was excellent and very helpful talking us through the menu. Very flexible and gave us a free taster of a couple. View menu

Friendly waiting staff. The food was fresh but not outstanding. The fried sardines were lovely. The octopus was too salty. Other dishes were disappointing. The price is very reasonable. We will not be returning.

We loved these tapas, great range including vegetarian ones and big portions. The location is also extremely central and easy to reach. The staff was very polite and helpful and the restaurant itself nice and clean. Probably the best tapas I've had in Montpellier so far.

Back at el pinchos and not disappointed ... Spent lots of lunchtimes here after a hard morning on the beach last year and doing the same again. Such friendly staff... You always get little plates of extras and service is always with a smile. Food and drink great .... What's not to like ... Playa las vistas ... Beautiful balcony view of the sea ... We will be back View menu

The food was very tasty and full. We tasted some things, that we would have never tasted otherwise, because they were served so inventively (the blood sausage with apple jam was superb!). The portions are plentiful. Everything is home-made and you feel very welcome. We had a nice dinner there and the waiter told us a lot about the region, we are esp. thankful to him for the info on where to find the timetable of bull fights, we used it!!!

My girlfriend and I spent a lovely evening at El Pincho Loco. Even though it was a very hot day, we chose to eat inside because the interior was nice and inviting. We took the 8 tapas menu for two and were glad to hear that you can choose any 8 tapas from their menu. They were well prepared by the Spanish chef and pretty large too. The woman who manages the tables was very friendly and joked around when we had to order in French and Spanish. We felt very welcome and had a really good time. If it were possible we would rate 4.5!

"Not our first visit and certainly not the last. The quality of service and food was exceptional, as always. From the mouthing (prepared especially for me by the chef Renaldo because I am a vegetarian) to the desserts everything is delicious, blend of exceptional flavors, Ronaldo certainly knows what he does. Each dish is presented exquisitely using plant-grown fillings around the restaurant. My wife started with home-made foie gras that she said delicious and that constituted a good portion. For a vegetarian, this restaurant is excellent with options on each dish that have been carefully designed by the chef and not only added afterwards, unusual for France but great to have such an excellent choice. At each visit, we note that the chef has added seasonal dishes and today has no exception. The asparagus blown was excellent with a delicious salad. My wife and father-in-law tried to blow him to the lobsters who didn't disappoint. For the sweets my companions returned to the blown Rhum and Grand Marinier that we had tasted previously while I tested a new offer of white and raspberry chocolate blown accompanied by a yusu jam, cultivated on a tree in the restaurant! It was delicious, so much so that my wife ate half of mine (but I had some of her cold blown in return). The restaurant is well presented, with the chef's wife in charge. It has a sense of design that makes it a pleasant environment to eat. Today, we had freshly cut lilies that looked simply beautiful. Finally, I couldn't finish the criticism without mentioning Jean Luc, the most excellent server that balances professionalism and friendliness and always has interesting stories to tell (in English and French, easily alternating). The blown cannot be pressed, so there can be a short waiting while they are freshly prepared, but you will not notice the time that passes with Jean Luc who provides the service. Thanks to Chief Renaldo and your team for another great experience, we'll be back."
