"My daughter is living in Regensburg now and she took me to this restaurant because of the Nachos, she said they are the best, and indeed they are: Self-made (not from a bag), tasty and really well done. But the fajitas… mmmm… what can I say, no Mexican, no Latin will ever fill a fajita with broccoli and carrots, and specially not from vegetables coming from a supermarket frozen bag. Spareribs were tasty but to dry, no sauce, neither BBQ nor chipotle sauce or anything, just dry. I was indeed really disappointed with the food. Not Mexican at all! It is edible? Yes it is. It is tasty? Well, presentation is nice and it is edible. Cocktails are nice, atmosphere is good and service is also very good and friendly. But if you really enjoy and know something about Mexican food, just go for the nachos!"

It's a hidden Gem... by Goliath street, close to some winter markets... Quaint Mexican restaurant in Regensburg, Bavaria. Please don't expect or compare with Tex.Arizona.Cali.Mexican fixin. It's close though. Ordered Fajitas for 2... and wheat beer... awesome dinner... enjoyed it. View menu

A good place for refreshment just off the main manic tourist trail, for a rest on a quiet terrace in the Autumn sunshine. We weren't here for food but the menu looked good, pizzas and suchlike, plus drinks from cocktails to coffee. Pleasant staff, child friendly and not crowded. Look for the statue of the Spaniard!

This restaurant's interpretation of Mexican food is spicy, generously sized, and pleasant. The salad accompanying the meal is lovely with different greens, peppers, and tomato (filled half the plate). Just have an open mind as the tacos listed on the menu are more like taquitos - so pick a meat you like and go for it.

The only positive we found there was the place itself, both outside and inside it is a very pleasant spot to take a short rest and maybe a drink when in the city center. Unfortunately we were also hungry, and that is exactly the point where they don´t deliver. All the food we had was quite oily, missing the taste it should have. To name a few we would not go for chili, fajitas and anything fried at this place anymore. View menu

delicious food, but much too long waiting times! the place is small, but it is absolutely necessary to reserve! Unfortunately, the service is very slow (even only 2 young girls, one of them at the bar). it took a quarter of an hour until we could order, then a quarter of an hour until the drinks came (cutlery was presented in advance) and the food was waited for 45 60 minutes. After the last of our group had eaten, the first were already finished.

Probably just a bad day, but... The waitress was playing with a dog, then went back to work - really doubt that she washed her hands. Ordered nachos, 10 minutes later was told that they ran out of them. It took another 10 minutesy to order tacos. One hour later the food was not ready, and there were just 5 of us and they were not that busy. Beer did not help either - kuchlbauer weisse was quite waterish. When tacos arrived, they were greasy. Do not recommend.
