I went in knowing that the Mexican food would not be anything like home. It's something you have to accept living abroad. The food was really good here but...

We felt like Mexican food and randomly searched for a place around. We came across this place and we are certainly glad. The service is friendly and quite quick, the portions are big, the food is fresh and very tasty and the prices are fair....Great value for money! We ordered starters, main dishes, one couple meat platter (which we all shared), some cocktails and soft drinks. The plates were all empty at the end of the meal, and I think this says it all. I strongly recommend this place. We will definitely come again.

Stopped in when looking for Mexican food in the area. Options are limited, so we drove over to give this place a try. So glad we did. The owner and waitress were both extremely friendly and accommodating, especially with our limited German. We even...stayed and chatted for a while after dinner. Now for the food. I had a burrito and it was one of the best I have had at any Mexican restaurant. The beans and rice, both phenomenal. My girlfriend had the quesada, which was also delicious. The only thing missing was the chunky style salsa we are used to. Well worth the trip. We will be back.

Wir waren nun schon mehrfach dort. Uns hat es immer sehr gut gefallen und vor allem sehr gut geschmeckt.Die Einrichtung finden wir absolut ok. Wir sind bisher immer sehr freundlich und nett bedient worden.Es handelt sich hier sicherlich nicht um eine gehobene Sterneküche, aber die Qualität der angebotene Speisen ist das Geld absolut wert.Wir waren auch bereits mit mehreren Personen dort essen und haben somit einen Eindruck von verschiedenen Gerichten erhalten.Bestätigen können wir allerdings, dass es immer einen freien Platz gibt. The Chili con carne is made with beans from a can , not very Mexican, the hen Mexican soup is made with chicken, not very Mexican, the wifi is known only by the chef...….. who never arrived … who then prepared our food? … which was not very Mexican . They did not have enough white wine , we asked for a bottle of Euros in the menú and they wanted to sell us half a bottle for Euros…. Unbelievable . Last but not least they do not accept credit cards …., very very disappointing…. Is it because they believe it is the Latin world ???? No to be visited again

They did not have enough white wine , we asked for a bottle of 13.50 Euros in the menú and they wanted to sell us half a bottle for 10 Euros…. Unbelievable . Last but not least they do not accept credit cards …., very very disappointing…. Is it because they believe it is the Latin world ???? No to be visited again

Am Freitag waren wir im El Sombrero in Hückelhoven essen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich konnten uns einen Tisch aussuchen da kein Mensch im Lokal war.Wir haben ein mexikanisch essen gewählt und ein Rumpsteak .Es gab kein Steak Messer dabei, Das Fleisch war nicht heiß genug, die Kräuter Butter verlief nicht auf dem Fleisch. Salat Beilage war sehr Fresh.Das mexikanische Essen, war sehr lecker. Aber es war Quantität vor Qualität.Wir waren circa 2 Stunden und waren die einzigen Gäste.Beim Verlassen des Lokals tauchten dann aber noch Leute auf die einen Tisch reserviert hatten.Ich glaube nicht dass wir das Lokal noch mal aufsuchen werden View menu
