"When visiting the little Town of Acqui Terme, I took a stroll looking for a nice place for lunch and came cross Enoteca La Curia. Because the garden restaurant setting looked nice despite the plastic chairs... and the head waiter was so charming, I decided to give it a try. Luckily, because I received one of the best services in Italy in a restaurant and the food tasted just magnificent. The menu card is full of typical Piemontese specialities with a lot of seafood dishes as well. Since I wasn‘t that hungry, I went for a fresh, mixed salad and a typical recipe of the refion: risotto with squid. Before starting out with my orders, I was served a scoop of russian salad mingled with tuna fish as amuse bouche, which was a nice surprise as well as a tasty delight. Finally I paid € 30. in total incl. a big bottle of gazified water as well as the standard table fee „coperto“ , which was a totally fair price for such a splendid lunch experience."

When I am in Acqui Terme, I make it a must-visit place to eat. Last week I had tortellini stuffed with pumpkin, a light parmesan white sauce and topped with foie gras and the most beautiful Barbera wine from the region. It is a bit more pricy than some other restaurants but well worth it for both food and ambience. Oh and I also recommend the wee wine bar for a drink before or after dinner. The owners and stall are all amazing too.

Riassumendo, Torneremo!"
