Fagins Diner - Menu

Two lovely pizzas in a lovely restaurant in the old town of Hastings. Pleasant service, a clean restaurant and most importantly its dog friendly.

I visited Fagins early evening yesterday and had a platter which you’re supposed to share but I never do …it was THE BEST one I’ve ever had!! Artichokes, falafels etc etc.. SO delicious!!

Ambience location nice, staff pleasant, but pizzas were poor. Bland sauce, poorly stretched base, not cooked in pizza oven imo. Another table sent all theirs back, but we were hungry. Other dishes were fine. View menu

Husband and I are new to Hastings, we popped in here one weekday evening for a quick meal, had olives and calamari to start and then both had burgers, food was hot, tasty, good size portions and well presented, good value for money, service was good, all in all a good experience, would go again.

2nd visit for dinner with hubby, he had a burger and I had the lamb kebab. Both dishes were delicious, generous portions, the kebab really was outstanding, authentic flavours and lovely accompaniments. Looking forward to our next visit. This spot is great for casual dining in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

We didnt have a booking but staff were very welcoming, especially as were concerned about going inside with a pram. Once in and settled, these worries were lifted. Chilled atmosphere, good service. We only had mains but they were lovely. Will be back again. Love the new decor as i last came here some years ago, its had a lovely refreshing uplift since. View menu

Called in for dinner, the day after Boxing day, and glad we did. Myself and my wife had a sharing starter, followed by a main each, with a lovely bottle of white rioja. The food was fresh and very nice, the service was friendly, and very efficient. Very good value, and a perfect dining experience, please don't change, will be back very soon. Thank you.

Dined here for lunch on NYE. Service was slow and food lacked any flavour whatsoever. Pizzas (despite toppings) tasted of raw dough and the seafood tagliatelle was a stodgy mess. Pasta was over cooked and the sauce tasted of nothing. Seafood was also over cooked and became stodgy. Price did not reflect the quality of food at all. There was no check back at all throughout the meal to give feedback, and despite half the plates being full, no-one asked how the meal was. Disappointed and would not recommend.

Never ever again so disappointed my friends has traveled up from Wales for dinner with us I had booked a specific table 10 days before and when we arrived was told that they'd had a booking for 11 so we'd have to sit on a table that was barely big enough for 4 small children to eat at,but then the table behind us left so waitress said so you want this one,wow thanks!!! so we moved because it did at least have room for four people however everytime the door opened my friend was pushed as people came in very very disappointed as booked early and was promised table then shelved because they had a better offer,very disappointed will never ever visit again food very mediocre and service not much...
