"Every evening, I was greeted with warm smiles and the comforting atmosphere of the pub. I indulged in their delightful house special, a boil-in-the-bag curry that was nothing short of fantastic. Although the menu was somewhat limited, I was thrilled to discover their curry and pint night, where I jokingly asked for it to be "hot enough to make me cry," and they delivered! The dish, priced at $7.95, came with a poppadum, naan, and a wonderfully spicy chutney sauce. I enjoyed it so much that I went back for another one the following night! The seating area was stylish and intimate, perfect for a romantic evening. The bar had a cheerful and welcoming vibe; I found myself chatting with a friendly gentleman sporting high-visibility clothing and a few missing teeth who was more than happy to strike up a conversation with a stranger. I truly felt at home, which is a hallmark of a great pub. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy good company, I highly recommend this restaurant. Bring your friends, your family, or even someone you bump into on the street—this spot is a treasure. Always come here at least once when I am down at my caravan, never had a bad meal. Food is fantastic, large portions and great value for money! Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Visited for a drink and a meal whilst staying locally. Car park available (smallish) steps down into rear of pub with very friendly staff, although it went a bit quiet when we entered which is a sure sign of a local pub. Our meals were fab, I had the ribs which came with a bone bowl and lemon wipe, and Rattler cyder to drink. Which twice over cost us £38.60 which is very good value. Log burner, toilets, sofas in the other bar, darts and a pool table.
