"This restaurant is not ideal for anyone looking for a quick meal. It took a very long time to place our order as we were seemingly forgotten. Other customers who arrived after us were served before we were. It took over 40 minutes from ordering to receiving our food. The food was delicious, but the slow service was a letdown. Nobody asked about our experience, and when clearing the plates, the staff did not say anything other than "have you finished.""

"In recent years, we’ve dined at this restaurant multiple times on various days. The food is of high quality, not just limited to their classic Italian dishes. There’s something to please every palate (I highly recommend the salmon with lentils). The service is truly the highlight here; it's discreet yet perfectly timed, polite but warm and friendly, attentive without being intrusive. The staff are genuinely pleasant to interact with and they take great care of you, even during busy dining hours. They always seem to be in good spirits and eager to chat. The decor gives off a charming old-fashioned vibe, which is rare to find in affordable, family-friendly restaurants today. The place is always bustling with a wonderful atmosphere that reflects the exceptional team they’ve assembled. I would definitely recommend this place! Thank you!"

"I didn't stay overnight, so please disregard the room rating. However, ten of us dined here twice in three days! Location-wise, it's very central, right on the edge of the old town center, though it is uphill. As for the food and drinks, we had a fantastic experience for under £400, which included wine for some. The menu features nice, straightforward French cuisine with excellent options like steak, duck à l'orange, and skate wing. The bistro atmosphere is lovely, and the service was commendable. My ratings: Rooms: 3, Service: 4, Location: 5."

"Stopped off by chance with my husband on the way home to grab something to eat. Initially they had stopped serving food as the lovely member of staff explained it had been non-stop for food orders which was understandable and no biggie. But the manageress and chef, asked us upon leaving if there was anything in particular we fancied to eat, fish chips/burger etc? And that it would be no trouble to accommodate us which, to me, is a rarity in most places these days. The staff were all absolutely lovely, friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. The batter on the fish was actually done beautifully, nicely crispy and not too thick so it was just the right balance. The meal sizing was huge as well, but in. A fab way that leaves you happily stuffed!"

"Compliments to the chef for this one.... Second time visiting this place.... First time sat inside for the meal... Incredible.. The staff very friendly and welcoming... STOP! The food.... Cheese gravy chips.... POUTINE PEOPLE... I have never seen it done before in this area of...somerset.... Abroad I have but not here.... So simple yet party in the belly.... Burger.... Great selection .. I went for the Asian inspired Korean burger .... Butter fried chicken !NOT GREACY! Just a bit of heat from the sauce but not enough to melt your eye sockets... Second time visiting this time takeaway !!!! The same as the first time.... HOW DO YOU GET THE SAME STANDARD OF FOOD SAT INSIDE EATING OR SAT IN YOUR CAR???? 10/10 HAT'S OFF.... I WILL RETURN ..
