I went to this restaurant for a team Christmas lunch and was extremely happy with the experience. The booking process was efficient, the decor was lovely, and there was a great selection of food to choose from.

Great place with a great atmosphere Went with mates for a few drinks and enjoyed everything down to the atmosphere with the locals and even the staff Shout out to one of the managers (I believe) Georgia who provided a lovely and friendly service Would recommend you visit if you ever get the chance 10/10

This pub is a great spot for delicious food and tasty beers. The quality of the food is excellent; I highly recommend trying the fish pie, it was fantastic. The garden in the back is also lovely, especially in the summer when it is lit up with candles. The only downside is that the staff are not very friendly based on my experience. View menu

The restaurant appears impressive from the exterior, boasting a large beer garden that should make it a top choice. However, the lack of imagination and expertise in the kitchen disappoints. If you're looking for an expensive burger that could easily be found at a sports stadium, this is the spot for you. The limited selection of beers and steep price of £4.50 per pint is the final drawback for me.

I recently visited the pub that served an amazing Sunday roast. The food was cooked to perfection and the flavors were spot on. I was also impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, especially Georgie who helped organize our meal. She was attentive, accommodating, and made sure that we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a delicious meal and excellent service.”

The Fentiman Arms combines contemporary design with a classic English pub vibe to bring a quality dining and mid-week drink spot to Oval. During the summer, a beer garden provides a picturesque setting to savor a cold lager as the sun sets. However, the staff could use some improvement and the prices for drinks are on the higher side (£5 for house red wine). It's a very hit and miss experience at the Fentiman. It's a lovely pub so it's very frustrating that they can't get the staffing right. I stopped going for a while due to poor service, but had lunch there in the summer on a cricket day and it was brilliant. Been there twice since and it's been dreadful. Once I took a group of about 15 colleagues on a quiet afternoon, we spent hundreds but the guy behind the bar seemed furious at having to serve us! Went back for lunch with a smaller group and it was similarly disappointing; service with a sneer from the same guy and my food was cold and very average. If they could only get their act together it would be the best pub in the area.

disappoint. the fentiman arms, 64 fentiman road, london SW8 1la due to a computer failure I lost the link to TellTheChef website and could not confirm the meal selection that I had made some weeks ago for our Christmas meal. that lacking a menu on the day meant that I could not remember what I had ordered. a reminder email on the morning or the day before would have helped enormously.
