"Typical Sicilian dishes at low cost. Recommended by a friend of Palermo I thought of having dinner trying to book on the phone: they do not accept reservations . He shows up and if there's room. Fortunately, the place is not a pliers and you can also eat outside. Aubergine and swordfish rolls; also fresh fish marinara paste. Then every day fish caught a few portions of what offered the sea that day. Paper tablecloth with dishes and prices indicated on the side (4/5 starters 4/5 first and second and sweets : they are specialized on those always fresh dishes seen the turnout .Personal attentive and fast. Winery not immense but valid In the evening if you do not want to wait in the queue dinner by 19,30 (the Nordic tourists the locals arrive after 21 . Cute anecdote: at the exit I noticed a queue waiting. The thing did not escape the owner who came out offering sparkling and aperitif free to deceive the wait .... (Certainly it could not happen in Brianza to try again the customer's attention."

Insanely popular but a bit outdated. Food is good and simple. Everything is served very quickly. Plus point. Delicious wines.

Historical and typical history of Palermo. Very colorful location, paper tablecloth, no set table, but there is, seen the covered 1€. Few dishes but cook really well! Service in the right time, good value for money. Recommended!

We had the cod fish and the veal dishes. Food was good but not enough for me to give 5 stars. Service was a bit chaotic, but staff was friendly. The pistachio cake was really really good! The aubergine starter was one of the best we had in Palermo. Would definitely recommend. Prices are also OK!

Our Airbnb was right above this place so we decided to try it. There was a line but the owner gave wine, salami, and bread for people waiting which was nice to see. There was a wait, but it went fast even though people that arrived before us were seated first after they walked up and spoke to a staff. The service wasn't great and it wasn't bad. They didn't have an English menu and they staff is so busy that it took longer to take our order than to get seated. The food made up for all this! It was very tasty and filling! If you get past all the other issues its worth going!

It is the right word for this restaurant, loved by locals, where even if there is an endless tail you will find a table because there is a continuous way! the red walls, one of the colors of Sicily, heats even more the local, in case you don't have enough owners, two young boys who know how to entertain the customers. the menu is on the paper tablecloths, which become a palette to the appetizer, and which immediately transmit the trueness of the place. they recommend pasta with different sauces, but a plate of fried calamaretti can not miss! excellent prices, wide choice, guaranteed quality.
