"Fidi as the locals will call it is where people come long distances within Germany to visit. It is a featured beer hall with grass roots history and groups or clubs might meet up once a week to chat outside of the virtual Facebook realms....It has lots of cartoon character types like out of a Grimm fairy tale which the old town Wangen is famous for. The atmosphere is more like a small Hofbrau Haus in Munich and the main food liver cheese is actually made out of calf and is sandwiched or placed on a plate with onions and bread. There is also sour cheese salads served which smells like the feet of ancient angels and tastes out of this world. The soul bread is also famous and served as a toasted open faced sandwich with bell peppers and organic cheeses."

Even today Anno 2015 in December, very tasty liver cheese in a light, flat semmel.

A must go if you are hungry for a Bavarian specialty, the so called Leberkaes which tastes almost like a hot dog, very good bread and tasty beer

Fun place with lots of locals. We sat in the beautiful biergarten last summer where we partook of the beer, laugenhörnle, breads and the famous leberkäs. Yum and fun in beautiful Wangen.

great crispy pulp and delicious meat. they must get a parking space at another place and go to the restaurant. shop is busy, but service is excellent and employees are very appealing. the meatlove is a bit too salty for me, but I personally am a simple taste... pretzel is super excellent. a must have an article.

The Fidelisbäck is one of the locals the best bakery in Wangen. Special tip: The liver cheese. In my opinion, only the souls are not entirely my taste. They are often burned down and sticky at dinner. The Fidelisbäck is almost always full, as you get delicious beer there. But if you're hungry, you have to try the liver cheese.

This is an institution in the picturesque cute city of Wangen. An absolute must go. They have great freshly baked breads, leberkaes and the the beer from a local small brewery. Quiet often you have to squeeze in with other people on one of the...rustique wooden tables and you will have an opportunity to talk with unknown people. Have fun!

Several times I was in Wangen (also business) and visited the Fidelisbäck with friends. The store was always full, and the liver cheese cream, along with the good beer, has always tasted good. It wasn't easy to be there. The service was good. After 35 years of living in quantities, Sigmaringen County, I often heard enough of friends about this bakery.

This bakery is impressive. My eyes feast at the great presentation of everything... My mouth waters just imagining the taste! A pity so little time and so much to choose from. I loved the strawberry cake, tastes like freah ripe strawberries. My daughter loves the...chocolate dipped cookie with smarties. My wife loves the apfelstrudle. And back at home we delighted ourselves with the fresh bread we brought with us.
