"the restaurant figls in grinzing is very easy to reach with the car, but finding a parking space around the Grinzinger road is usually very laborious (also short-term parking zone) and most of the time they can only have a parking lot with. from the outside the building does not look very large, the facade is clearly designed, and a few steps lead to the entrance area, which is very nicely furnished. they enter the restaurant through a glass door and they can see the real size of this restaurant, which also has a 1st floor. the bar area is very beautiful and designed in rustic beer style with many bar stools, many small areas with smaller tables can be found in this area. the whole place is quite dark, because the inner and the walls are covered with dark wood, the furniture is in very good condition. the roof area is equipped with many large window panes that ensure good daylight, in the evening many small lights provide sufficient light. the menu card offers a good and large selection of different dishes, also some vegetarian dishes can be found on the menu. The beverage menu offers a good selection of different beers, either on the tap or in a bottle. we ordered a budweiser, krautfleckerl, steirian fried chicken and figls burger. the dishes were served very beautifully decorated, the figls burger was really very good, with sweet potatoes, the bark was very juicy and the two sauces also tasted very good. the portion size of the cauliflower was really sufficient and the taste was really very well rarely eaten so well. the budweiser jug, well cast and ok in taste. the service staff was very friendly and tried hard, the drinks were really served fast. in relation to the price-performance ratio, the figls is really recommended. if this review was helpful for them, please activate the helpful sample"

Excellent schnitzel! One of the best ever. We had a sausage with a soft pretzel as an appetizer. Taste of heaven!!

Nice place, spacious and calm, in a nice area; not easy to reach, though, far from center. Food quality medium, acceptable. Prices quite high, though, for that quality. View menu

We visited this place after a friend's recommadation. It was awesome. Everything from the quality of the food, the employes and the warm atmosphere. Prices were also good.

A large dinner with 30 people of different nationalities and all of them enjoyed it a lot. They prepare some selections and each customer could make a choice. Even some Out of menu orders were done without problems. Very professional waiters, they really made a...great job despite the fact our group was coming at different hours, with different traditions. They all liked the location and the food, and the courtesy of the whole staff. over: One of the best Wiener schnitzel in town. Also the pork leg is wonderful. Very tasty and well cooked. We will organize a meeting there again

Has a very nice outside area in the garden, with outside bar which gets the drinks quite fast so service was good, we had a bigger area reserved for just us and had buffet setup close. Must admit the food was not to my liking. For starters there was the classical lachs, mozzarela and sort of tafelspitz and that was just OK, then A soup which was good even if it could have been warmer. Mains was even more classical with meat and meat, with some salad and ended with sweets. Overall place and garden was excellent, great service and good drinks, but food was just nothing to remember View menu

Apart from the great and cheerful atmosphere, they can make a great Tafelspitz (on which I am specialized in testing). What I like most about this place is that is combines modern style with old Viennese tradition. Service is just top and in comparison to other traditional Viennese guests houses, it's very spacious. You definately do not smell like food afterwards and it's great for organizing big celebrations or going there with a large group of people. It is a big far from the city center, so you either has to take a tram and go almost to the last station or you should go there by car. But for me, the travel Figls was always worth it.

My local colleague (who leaves in this area) brought me to this restaurant when I asked for a place that serves Austrian dishes (they also served many other dishes). I had the Veal Goulasch and a house beer. I enjoyed both of them. The Goulasch tastes quite different from what I had in many other places in Vienna (in particular it's not spicy), but I liked it. The food price is on the high side, but still quite reasonable. (The Goulasch costs about 13 Euros, for example.) The service is also excellent. The waiter was very attentive and kind. This is not something I usually found in restaurants in Vienna, and especially in this area. TIPS: If possible, try to book a table before you come. The...
