"We actually wanted to hold our annual Christmas meeting with you, but unfortunately we have to cancel it. We were with you on 06.11.2011 to make a test dinner. You've been very disappointed. We sat at the table with six people and the following points have disturbed us: 1. The menu you show on the internet can not be yours, on the contrary you get a DIN A4 sheet, no menu, thrown on the table. Like the motto, there's nothing else. I have ordered a Franconian wedding soup, but got the lukewarm, tasteless soup, not with pancake strips as usual, but with noodles, NOT CONTENT, should your chef not know how such is made, he can read on the internet. 2. Then the food came, my tasty tasteless soup immediately, but then in 10 minutual regularity a dish after the other. I was the last one, so they can calculate when that was, 60 minutes later, my taste-neutral baked carp was allowed to swim again, on my plate, namely in oil. The best of my menu was the salad, because it came from the can or bucket. 3. So we came to a conclusion that we cannot take the risk of going with 14 people at Christmas with you food, because until the last one gets his food, the first two are already with coffee and cake again. So I cancel the reserved places for the 26.12.2011 at 1 pm for 14 people."

Since we were unfortunately unable to eat in this wonderful economy during the Advent season (Corona makess possible) we took Christmas 2020 to Go and were totally enthusiastic. Staff as always professional and the food grandios. We hope that we will be able to go back to normality in 2021 and be able to feed back to the halls of Saints. Keep going.

A super fish restaurant with carp from own breeding. The fish lovers should try the pepper carp! Here, however, there is also a regional speciality for meat lovers. The skating (for all non-fats: roasted shoulder piece with rind and meat with fine frying sauce and potato pancakes) and of course all other regional dishes. Cosy Franconian inn. Special Easter decoration on the ceiling, very stylish. Baked carp twice, once roasted meat and pork roast. I can say that both were very tasty. The Reh was very odoured, broken on the tongue. The carp was also very delicious. I noticed very positively that there are no ashtrays at the tables, instead small exhibitors, on which a discreet non-smoking logo and something of smoke-free restaurant was printed. That should be school if the politicians don't get it. By the way, I'm a smoker, but when I eat, I don't like the swaths from the neighboring table in my nose. I have been going to eat fox for many years, formerly as a teenager with my parents and now still together with my adult son, my girlfriend and my 88-year-old father. I have always been celebrating my birthday there for many years, and the food is the same as the top class. Tastefully all 1A, better it won’t go, big portions and the prices are also perfectly fine. "Restaurant mit überschaubarer Auswahl in einem Sportheim am Gewerbegebiet mit einem etwas kitschigen/Saloon Einrichtungsstil. Im Rindercarpaccio waren die Zwiebeln komplett fehl am Platz, besser Kapern, diese haben den Geschmack des Fleisches total übertönt. Etwas mehr Parmeggiano Rigiano und hochwertiges Olivenöl wären hier besser. Das Knoblauchbrot war etwas schwach abgeschmeckt…ein Knoblauch Öl Mischung statt Knoblauchkräuterpaste oder zusätzlich würde das Ganze intensiver machen. Das Roastbeef war optisch sehr gut, hatte außen schöne Röstaromen. Der Garpunkt war Medium Well, etwas zu lange. Zudem war es leider sehr faserig/zäh weshalb man teils eher mit beißen statt genießen beschäftigt war. Der Rosmarin roh darüber macht wenig Sinn, besser nach dem Scharfen Anbraten im Ofen/Pfanne mit Butterschmalz dazu damit das Aroma aufs Fleisch übergeht. Der Sauerrahm der Kartoffel war absolut nicht passend abgeschmeckt, dieser war wirklich süß, entweder hat man hier zu Zucker statt Salz gegriffen oder unharmonisch abgeschmeckt Salz/Pfeffer/Olivenöl/Petersilie/Schnittlauch langen, davon kann keinerlei Süße aufkommen. Außerdem wäre empfehlenswert zum Steak, ein gutes Olivenöl und eine Art Rauchsalz dazu zugeben. Die Kroketten (Anderes Gericht) waren extrem pappig und trocken, ziehen das Gericht herunter. Vermute hier TK Ware, ansonsten eher austauschen mit beispielsweise gebratenem frischem Spinat/Knoblauch. Zudem wäre es praktischer die Pfeffersauce separat dazuzugeben. Die Nachspeise Apfelküchle war an sich gut, wurde jedoch durch sehr einfaches Vanilleeis herunter gezogen. Kristalle, Kühlschrankgeschmack keiner erwartet eigenes Eis jedoch würden hier ein hochwertiges Produkt mit echtem Vanille(punkten) statt Aroma Punkten. Die Schokosoße harmoniert nicht richtig, lieber weg lassen und zudem würden 2 Scheiben mehr (statt nur zwei) nicht schaden. Ich denke das meiste kommt den Ansprüchen der Ortsansässigen nach, jedoch ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Zumal Preise doch etwas gehobener hierfür sind und Portionen etwas weniger üppig ausfallen. Bis auf Sonntag gibt es kaum fränkische Hausmannskost, diese wäre „Außerhalb“ genau was man sucht."
