Needed somewhere to get out of the rain and thankfully they managed to squeeze us in without a booking! staff were so friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there, the French onion soup was to die for, just what I needed on a cold and rainy afternoon, thank you we will be back!

A lovely venue for a family Christmas get together. The food was delicious, well presented and plentiful. The staff were engaging and so helpful and attentive. Prior to the visit I spoke with Harriet a couple of times for various food requirements, she couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. I would absolutely go back. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

yesterday my two sisters themselves and my nieces had a luxurious afternoon tea in their beautiful shop. it was my first, but it wasn't my last visit. the workers were amazingly attentive, without obtrusive keeping us well supplied with tees and coffee and let us have enough time between the sandwiches, scones and cakes. many thanks for an amazing experience that I have already told my family, I want to come back to my birthday in august. I took my mother here for the 50th birthday. we had the deluxe package and I can't get this place back high enough. the staff was super helpful, friendly and welcoming. the service from beginning to end was perfect! our food was so fresh and tasty, there was a large selection of sandwich fillings and cakes. my mother was so impressed and we'll both return. Many thanks to the fact that they have given themselves the effort to put a candle in my mumd cake, she was so satisfied. the staff went beyond and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time and we had really a nice lunch. perfection is the best. many thanks!

I’ve been twice. The first time was good. The French onion soup was delicious. The second time, we only went for a coffee but the service was appalling. The waitresses couldn’t even take our order for two drinks correctly, remember to bring us our drinks or coordinate the arrival of the drinks (I’d finished mine before my Mum received hers). This was possibly because the young ladies were more interested in looking at themselves in the mirror and preening their hair. They really couldn’t walk past the mirror without a quick glance at their reflection, then they gathered at the mirror to gossip and look at themselves. God forbid any of their customers should need assistance

What a fantastic afternoon! A very welcome refuge from the rain. The setting is perfect, right on the high-street. The decor is quaint and very pretty… highly Instagramable lol! The staff are so lovely here and actually bother to take the time to engage in conversation and make you feel very welcome. The food is tasty and beautifully presented. The menu is nicely varied leaving you spoilt for choice. Speaking of spoilt… the cakes here are delicious!!! … for a change I tried something from their festive menu… the lemon and cranberry scones were a delightful twist on a classic!
