"what I had expected at all, I thought it would be more bar with a very cool hipster variety, where in fact its more restaurant with a fairly industrial feeling of exposed bricks, copper, metal and wood with a blend of soft display hard seating. it has a very open feeling about it and although not hipster it is modern. we went in a big group just after working on a week night and the place was 't busy, although at the time we left, it was slowly filling. our waiter was very pleasant and very patient with us when we ordered food and cocktails. many of our articles consisted of burgers, and I chose the burger without buns (on my low calorie dining plan) and I was pleased to see that it served on a large salad leaf to act as my bun. the menu includes various burgers, pizzas and salads with sides. they also make breakfast, brunch and lunch. the cocktails range from the boo ya cachaca to the old fashioned to a very interesting smoked cherry manhattan, which is delivered in a smoke-filled clos to their table. eating is good. the cocktails are fab. a beautiful wine bar/restaurant in the west end."

Warm and pleasant atmosphere during a rainy Edinburgh day. I ordered a hot tea and small chips and enjoyed a peaceful time reading A lot of the seating has outlets to charge your phone or laptop which was lovely! The staff were also very attentive and made sure everything tasted good Which it did!

Wow! What a great dinner! After having looked to book a table at several other places for dinner and coming up short we decided to book a table here! Using the 3 snacks for £14 deal some sides and drinks) we had a great, filling meal for 2 for only £23! the snacks were great value and the waiters were very friendly. I WILL be coming back! this was a last minute late night stop for us, trying to find somewhere to 21:30 21:45 most places we found ready to serve at 21:00 so our options were limited. the foundry 39 served until 22:00. the food we had was nice and tasty, but the choices were a little limited for someone who needs gluten-free. the cocktails we had were nice. the staff was friendly and helpful.

revere has arrived in style to edinburghs west end with the foundry 39, after the success of the fire station in waterloo london, the award-winning the lost found in birmingham and the huntsman of brokenhurst in the new forest. After we took part in the opening night and could marvel at the smoking cocktails, the pizzas and the epic burgers with paper-din sourdough, we jumped on the chance to throw an even bigger bit out of the offered foundry 39.

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
