"The location is perfect, and the decor is very French. I was given a nice table by a window, perfect for eating solo. The staff was beyond friendly and attentive. The food left much to be desired. I ordered the prix fixe meal. The foie gras was okay, but nothing special, but better than from a grocery store. The only accompaniment was a spoonful of caramelized onions (5 Guys style) that did not complement, and no mustard, gherkin pickles, etc. The lamb chops were overdone and cooked at a low temperature that left no flavorful searing. They were accompanied by a demiglace sauce where the bones and vegetables were not braised enough, leaving the sauce tasting more like a rich beef broth. It was an unpleasant lamb and beef flavor combination. The spinach side dish was quickly smothered with garlic and was delicious, primarily because it was fresh and grown in France. The creme brule dessert looked like a slice of pumpkin pie but without any of the delight. The hard candied shell had dissolved days before serving and the custard filling was thick and tencious. Even worse, was the pie shell that had been soaking for days and had turned into a leathery layer impenetrable with a fork. The dessert was a disaster and should have never crossed the kitchen door except for the back kitchen door leading to the dumpster, what an embaressment! I did not complain because I felt badly for the staff, paid, left a 20% tip, and had an unforgivable experience."

A good surprise. I didn't know what to expect from the reputation of the establishment and I wasn't disappointed.

a must-see place that we love every time we come to Paris, a place M'A'G'N'I'F'I'Q'U'E or have this sense well, the Silence, the discretion, the kindness of the staff and especially the dishes are excellent, a place Mythic simply.

We were very well received... valet service to which we are not accustomed but practical. Have tasted a truffled tarama, as well as parmesan and truffle creme rigatonis. Personal care and discreet. Luxurious but not bling bling. Small point to improve: damaging that the dishes are not stamped 's

It’s been a long time since I had not returned to this legendary Paris restaurant that didn’t take a wrinkle despite its crash and the restoration that followed. The service is always courteous and thoughtful and pleasant. The dishes are correct without being gastronomic: the tartare home always has this unique taste that I love so much as the millefeuilles always impeccable. Entrance (smoked smoky smoky enough on the other hand. Map of wines in my very excessive sense for what it is. But in the end, being neither starlet nor tourist, brewery dishes and a keel of red for 173 euros head, it still remains somewhat excessive compared to the many stars on the same avenue or a few steps! The pric...
