"I went to this cafe with my wife and young family and had the misfortune to have to send a dish back untouched as it was a pig foot with 99% fat rather than pork on the bbq as the waitress told us in Spanish that it was. The waitress did not like this, and was very angry towards me and my family. She attempted to rally locals against us in Catalan (which unfortunately I don’t understand) but luckily only 2 tables got involved, aggressively pointing out that we were rude to send a dish back. My wife took a photo of the menu and restaurant sign so that we would have a record of the visit and the waitress again took offence to this and aggressively put her phone camera in my wife and children’s face to take a retaliatory photo. Understandably this upset my young children so we paid fully and left rather than argue further. I know that the fat is considered a delacy for many Catalans but the polite, non confrontational way I sent the food back did not warrant the aggressive, loud, bullying response of the waitress, especially in front of my young family. No restaurant should respond in the way they did, nor attempt to get other customers involved for what is essentially none of their business and at the end of the day a communication problem between me and the waitress. This restaurant may be fine if you speak and understand Catalan but if you only understand Spanish I would avoid at all costs."

We ended up here by chance because we were truncated the day and we did not know where to eat without reservation (until a chicken with potatoes ask you for reservation. and it was pleasant to find this place, it got us a lot. friendly treatment, cordial and a lot of dishes combined and snacks, ideal for teenage children who do not know how to eat anything else, have a menu also very complete, and reasonable prices.
