Given the staff shortages they were really helpful and made sure everything was up to scratch. Sadly the ambience is terrible. It’s loud echoey and you can’t hear conversations without shouting. The food was delicious but we left as soon as we could because of the noise.

This is a rare find indeed : to be able to enjoy excellent cuisine amidst well above average surroundings and with exemplary service. Slightly pricey but actually worth it. Thank you *everyone* as this can only be possible through good team work, find skills attention to detail

We were a family group of 8 including 3 children and some chose the Christmas menu. We all found the food extremely good my rack of lamb was beautifully rare and the children's menu had very generous portions healthy veg sides as opposed to the standard chips ! were provided.on request. View menu

We had a lovely evening, the service was excellent and we were not rush at any point, the table was ours for the evening and we made the most of it. The choice of food was plentiful and we both had a lovely meal with some very good Wine. The restaurant was immaculate, very clean and a pleasure to relax in.

Pretty, large, relaxed pub with restaurant perfect for our large group of friends. Some main courses were not particularly generous (eg. Burger), however reasonable for the money in this location. Service was very slow, and although it was Saturday lunchtime they’re were tables free so wasn’t at capacity so not sure justification for this. In general nice venue for a reunion with friends.
