"The waiter who greeted us was a little abrupt and not very helpful when we asked for some advice on which wine to choose and also barely said thank you when we added a 10% tip at the ens, but other staff members were friendly. Lovely surroundings seemingly an old wine cave we were sitting downstairs in cellar) HUGE portions and nicely cooked. The only reason I didnt give it five stars was that my starter cheese balls) really needed some sort of piquant sauce with it as there was an enormous quantity of lovely crisp and rich fried balls but it needed a fruity or slightly spicey sauce to cut through it. Still lovely though and the duck after was also wonderful. Such a generous portion of duck breast with lovely baby vegetables but for me, the same issue as not enough of the lovely sauce that was there. i needed a little jug on the side with more sauce) My husband had the smoked salmon which he said was outstanding and the fillet of beef which he said was one of best steaks he has ever eaten. Service was also very quick."

"Ci siamo capitati per caso,semza conoscere il locale anche attraverso le consuete recensioni. Ci siamo trovati bene come ambiente, personale molto cordiale, gentile e professionale. Tavoli ben allestiti e assoluta percezione di pulizia, non sempre scontato. Menù variegato con tipiche proposte di specialità valtellinesi. Buona la carta dei vini. Rapporta qualità prezzo accettabile. Lo consiglierei."

"This place is not in the city center. It is only a 8 min walk. It is for locals. The service was excellent. They spoke English and the pizza and pasta were perfect. If u find yourself in this part of the world. You should visit this place."

"Pizzeria ristorante che offre 2 sale interne e una veranda dove poter gustare una gran varietà di piatti sia per il lato pizza che per il lato ristorante. Abbiamo optato per la pizza e devo dire che c'è ne sono veramente tante tra cui scegliere, la pizza era ben guarnita e non sottilissima come alcune che sono veline, il ristorante alla sera chiude prima della pizzeria che arriva a mezzanotte. Come dessert dove anche qui c'è una bella scelta abbiamo optato per il classico limoncino e ci è stato chiesto se lo volevamo con o senza vodka. Preso senza ma non capendo bene il perché. La sorpresa è arrivata quando invece del classico bicchierino ci è stata portata una tazza da cappuccino su un piattino come da foto che è veramente buona. Ottima accoglienza del personale prezzi un po' sopra la media ma in vacanza ci può stare."

"Very happy dining here with my family of four. Gorgeous setting in the internal courtyard of a two story, very old stone building with tonnes of character (moss on the stone etc . The food is locally sourced, regional specialities with interesting options (buckwheat pasta with duck ragu, venison multiple ways , but there are enough gorgeous, simple dishes to keep fussy kids happy (home made spinach and ricotta ravioli with butter and sage, vegetarian lasagna, spaghetti with ragu etc. . The waiters are passionate about locally sourced produce. Even though they have a cellar stocked with 200 or so wine choices, they seemed disappointed that we did not initially order the local wine (a dry white blend of three grape varieties , so we changed our order and were very pleased with the wine. Very tasty food. Waiters speak Italian, German and English (at least . Highly recommended!!!"
