"We are real foodies and love great food. This place was a real find. We had given up looking for authentic Thai food that hadnt been frenchified and lost its true character. Fear not- this place has their chef from Bankok and serves real Thai...food We tries the duck salad, thai beef salad, massman duck curry, papaya salad, beef penang curry, pad thai. ALL OF THEM WERE SPOT ON DELICIOUS AND TRUE TO THE THAI STYLE USING ALL ESSENTIAL INGREDIENTS! including kaffir lime leaves, fish sauce, coriendar , chilli, mint leaves, lime juice (believe it or not we have had Thai food in France served up without these ingredients and cream added to the sauces!!! For those locals who prefer they have a french chef also who cooks great steaks- they even have Waygu steak! We didnt get to try all that but will next time as we will be sure to be back though t will be very hard to drag us away from the Thai menu Most thai dishes about 16 euros"

C'est la même impression que la précédente fois : cuisine Thaï très fine. Très bon accueil. Une des nombreuses très bonnes adresses à Cogolin.

Who apparently was the owner, was not very happy about two guys who did not understand french. Luckily the cook was. And the Thai food, as it must be, was delicious, healthy and energizing to recover from a long trip.

Had an amusing evening here, food was superb, get service from the host, came to desert and this was apparently the Mothers job, sadly she was busy chatting to other guests, and we were not as important as those! So we enjoyed the in house...entertainment as the the owner asked several times for his mother to serve us and then finally, she threw a tantrum at him and left! So unfortunately we didn't get dessert or coffee, but otherwise, it had been an awesome evening!

"Popped up to this lovely restaurant this week. First things first, if you're going to come in the summer, it's indoors so expect it to be warm and expect to need to book. Also, bring cash. On to the main info. Didier who owns the restaurant is someone my family met when we stumbled on him at a restaurant 15 years ago. Over the years, we have never missed visiting him if we can. The man is worth visiting any restaurant for alone. He is such a character and so charming. Now with his piano in his restaurant, we love to hang around later on in the evening and play/sing a bit of impromtpu jazz too.The setting is cut into the rock and this is exposed in some of the back areas of the restaurant. The walls are beset with lots of colourful and interesting pieces of art that he has gradually accumulated. Expect to be sitting close to fellow guests and on odd chairs with odd patterned china but it's all part of the fun. The food: mum, the pescatarian, loved the aubergine starter and the fish on offer. The lasagne starter was to die for and the chicken so tasty! My bf thought the chorizo on his pizza was incredible. And the lamb gorgeous too. The pain Tchinch was soooo good and a dessert fiend's best friend. A bit like a Belgian waffle. The moelleux au chocolat is always decadent. The food portions are substantial and for the 31 euros for a three course menu (which does not restrict your choices), a bargain! I didn't indulge much this week in wine but I did try Didier's and it was lovely. The upstairs: part of the roof is missing upstairs in the chill out area and it's lovely and cool. Wonderful for relaxing on the sofas/chairs for a complimentary shot of limoncello at the end of the evening.Verdict: this is a lovely hidden gem set in an ancient village with more character than you can find elsewhere in the Côte d'Azur."
