Gasthof Kriechbaumer

It's not fine dinning, but it's a great traditional Stube. It has been a very long time between our visits, but not much has changed. The food is excellent, but very reasonably priced. Try it and you will not be disappointed

we are not the earliest eater, so we arrived about 13:30h, the restaurant makes at 14:00h break. Nevertheless, it was not a rehearsal to get something to eat. the dishes came at the same time, have tasted well and were very plentiful. the service is friendly and he beer garden is quite nice with old trees (kastanien). we like to come back.

we lived in bad aibling and were able to go to lunch to the kriechbaumer. in two weeks in europa our dinner here was perhaps our favorite and not just for the nostalgia. we had boarbs swimming with kartoffels and knödel...Juice and a beside salad, and the wonderful maxlrainer white beer. our waitress, the lovely woman kriechbaumer, reminded us that the gasthof is the oldest customer of maxlrain, which lies only two or three kilometers on the road. how old I asked. only years the register card for our firm: under euro.

We lived in Bad Aibling from and could walk to the Kriechbaumer for lunch. In two weeks in Europe, our dinner here may have been our favorite, and not just for the nostalgia. We had Schweinebraten, which comes with potatoes and dumplings swimming in...juice and a side salad, and the wonderful Maxlrainer Weissbier. The restaurant is really nice. Lot's of space and different rooms. Traditional bayrisch food in good quality. Price and scale of the meal is really ok. Very good beer from a near by brewery Maxlrainer. So, the good is just for the restaurant!!! Kriechbaumer also...have rooms. But they are not really clean. In our bathroom, the semiused soap from people before was still laying at the bathtube. Very long waiting time for hot water. aprox. Roomsize was really big, furniture looked new, but everything looks like nobody is really taking care of. Bedsheets, Pillows and towels were clean. I slept quit well. kriechbaumer is located on the outskirts of Baden aibling in a residential area, which means that it is not really too foot away from the center, they need to drive or go by bike. that said they have a lot of parking so that. should not be a problem. kriechbaumer also has rooms that I cannot comment because we were not there. from the location, however, this is a more convenient stop at a bike tour or if you do not want to stay in bad aibling center. the restaurant has a very nice and relaxed beer garden and plenty of seating. the staff is nice, friendly and very efficient. the menu offers traditional Bavarian favorites like pork roasts (Pork-Bröse) and kalbsbraten (bauernröse) as well as ka...

when I was a baby, herr kriechbaumer was a local metzger and would offer me a piece of free wut on my morning walk with my mother. the times have changed, and in the years since we are back to the states, we always land. here again when we come back to visit. we stayed here. the rooms are clean, charming and solid with a beautiful Bavarian breakfast. Now that I have children, we usually decide to rent a flat as vereinapartments gallinger, but we go back to kriechbaumers for a few meal times. last night my children tried knodl with gravy (they loved it). there are Bavarian specialties to good trips and huge portions (they can take it home if they cannot end everything). the menu is all in Ger...

Kriechbaumer is located on the outskirts in Bad Aibling in a residential area, meaning that it is not really walking distance from the centre you will have to drive or go by bike. Having said that, they have plenty of parking, so that should...not be a problem. Kriechbaumer also has rooms, which I cannot comment on because we didn't stay there. Judging from location, however, this is a convenient stopover when doing a cyclingtour or if you don't necessarily want to stay in Bad Aibling centre.
