Beautiful located restaurant. It was fully booked but they allowed us to have a quick bite. Great with kids, extremely helpful and nice staff. Food was perfect and good prices. We will come again

We read reviews and found this hidden-away place. Sadly, it was not serving food the evening we went along, although we enjoyed some excellent beers outside on the terrace. Very friendly venue in a charming setting.

In the middle of nowhere is this fine old school German restaurant. Clearly a family favorite place, with pleasant staff and friendly patrons. Food portions are large so you will not leave hungry and the prices are very reasonable. I really enjoyed the place and...would recommend it as being worth a trip for hearty German meal.

This is an old Black Forest restaurant. The menu contains refined traditional meals. We had two very tasty meals for lunch. In summer you can sit outside on a nice terrace with view on the Black Forest. The service is very efficient. The place is...very popular with the locals. On weekends you should make a reservation. We will certainly return.

The Rößle has been an institution for decades at least. Out in the middle of nowhere, but still fairly easy to reach for hikers or even by car coming from Schönwald. Authentic Black Forest food in a friendly family atmosphere. They were very good...with our kids, even though the youngest made a mess with her food. It\'s advisable to make a reservation; this place gets busy.

We were dining at this restaurant, adults and baby .. We took a mushroom soup that was awesome and for main dish we ordered traditional schnitzel and pork medallions that was also .. awesome! For dessert we took a black forest cake...that was also... Yes you right, awesome... So if you\'re planing a vacation at the Black Forest or passing through Schonwald area don\'t forget to stop at this restaurant.

My boyfriend and I ate at Gasthaus Rössle shortly after the Corona virus quarantine restrictions lifted. Our server was super friendly (and funny). The food was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend had the venison (reh) and I had the veal (kalb) schnitzel. SO GOOD! Then we...had the black forest cake and the fire department cake (feuerwehr torte). Both were also excellent. We definitely recommend a reservation if you are in the Triberg area.

We were recommended of this restaurant by the zimmer owner with which we stayed and were very thankful for this recommendation. This restaurant was so good we returned to it out of of our nights spent in the area and tried many dishes....The food is classical German done very well. The soups were all fantastic (we tried all of them), great Vension dishes (steak and goulash), veal schnitzel was superb, great steak, tasty fish (Pangasius and Trout) and tasty desserts. We were warmly welcomed and our waiter who served us on all nights was super nice, helpful with tips and even remembered our preferences. Price range of the mains was around Euros, and soups for about euros. Great value for money...
