"The catering of our wedding in May 2022 was organised by the Gasthof Stockhammer. During the preparation phase, the contact was very nice, the sample meal was very delicious.A week before the wedding we gave our final table plan with number of guests and dishes. On Friday night before our wedding, unfortunately, 6 of our guests had to cancel because of Corona.I immediately sent the correct table plan with the changed number to the catering.On the morning of our wedding day, I got a very unfriendly mail from the catering line, as you prepare the blanketing of the tables so much effort.The meal on the wedding day was very tasty, qualitatively in any case top.Leider was the served meat at some of our guests still raw. After calling several times and mails no one wanted to look for the record in the inn, it simply said that the record cannot be there. After a long search, the serving plate was handed over to us. At the bottom, even a name tag sticked by our guest! When the invoice came to us, we realized that the 6 dishes of the non-appeared guests were fully calculated (not only the purchase value but also the service fee for guests who were not there) and also an hour extra was calculated for the “reconstruction” i.e. Remove the 6 blankets.Everything in all, we were really extremely disappointed in retrospect. With such a handling you do not expect to be a bridal couple.In spite of the delicious food, we cannot recommend the inn as a catererer."

The Gasthof Stockhammer is old-hearted and famous for its dimensions. The Rindsgulasch with Semmelknödel was a revelation. Mr. Greinwald, senior manager, asks about the satisfaction of the guests at all tables. A really nice and friendly gesture. The restaurant was totally loaded and the service was anger.

We accidentally discovered this inn. Dinner in wonderful weather outside in front of the house under parasols. Large menu and well-maintained food. Especially Bavarian in high quality. Very friendly service in leather pants and dirndl. Great urge. Unconditionally reserve. Our great recommendation in Kelheim.
