"historical place of chianalea di scilla, very well-kept location and incredible location with its terrace on a unique panorama, chianalea and castle. courtesy, professional, waiting times in good average prices. a small note on the menu, however short as it fits quality restaurants, based little on the Calabrian cuisine and much on the generic marine cuisine however made with quality products. to forget the pasta to the clams, few clams and much, but much garlic. Good dessert. chianalea is a pedestrian island, difficult regulated parking in periods of high affluence."

Love this place so much! Dino his son Pepe are so kind and considerate. The food is fantastic and the view is absolutely stunning. I came here years ago and it is still fabulous!! A MUST when in Scilla.

Wow.

I had an amazing dining experience at Glauco. The view was breathtaking, and the ambience felt familiar and welcoming. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The food was exceptional, with carefully crafted dishes that delighted my taste buds. The wine selection perfectly complemented the meal. Overall, Glauco offers a memorable dining experience in a stunning setting. Highly recommended.

. Complimenti!!!! View menu

we were a Sunday of April in this restaurant for the first time, the view on the sea is its part, but also the courtesy and the genius of the staff are praised. we took some first and second courses, excellent sword and curly fish rolls. dulcis in fundo i dolce, classic truffle and sevenveli at the delicious pistachio. price in the norm and are in accordance with the order and other less well-appointed restaurants of chianalea. recommended.

the room seems summarily good, except for the excessive tips coming from the stairs. I recommend a table away from any door. friendly, helpful and professional staff. rather put quantity not quality, fresh fish of food, considered the high cost of some dishes. Unthinkable to propose a mixed grill at 22 euros and present 4/5 pieces including 1 prawn! I understand the gourmet, but there is a limit of decency to satisfy. it would have been nice to conclude lunch with a bitter coffee offered.

"Went to this resturant without having read any reviews, which had we read any there would have been a good possibility that would have chosen to go there. However our experience could not be further from those of the previous reviewers. We were a party of ten when we arrived the resturant was empty except for one table, for an inexplicable reason we were shown upstairs to an equally empty room. We made our orders and then we heard a lot of noise coming from downstairs. The anti-pasti arrived which in fairness I must say was fine. Then the main courses arrived, one of which was wrong and two other dishes were still to arrive, which meant three of our party were without dishes. However the vegetables ordered to accompany the missing dishes did arrive. One of the missing dishes was for steak and when it arrived, it was hardly warm and it was rejected and after about 20 minutes it was eventually replaced with a steak of exactly the same temperature, this was not eaten. When the waiter was challenged about this, from our limited understanding of Italian, he said that in the south of Italy the meat is not very good. If this was case why on earth would they put steak on the menu. The other two missing dishes were for fillet of fish in a lemon sauce, which arrived over 15 minutes later than the rest of food, why it took so long was a mystery. We decided to finish our meal and went down stairs to pay our bill, only to find that the majority of the tables were now full, with local male diners who we're watch the football on the TV. I was left with the distinct impression that we foreigners we seated out of the way and it was a case of out of sight out of mind"
