"Just went here with my family... Over £60 for food and drink for 4. Sent the fish fingers back as they were cold in the middle. I ordered a pizza for £13.50 I'd be disappointed if I'd paid a pound for it from Iceland! It was the worst pizza I've ever eaten, sent that away when the replacement fish fingers arrived and chose to eat the cold chips the served up this time instead. No apology as the serving staff are all under 16 and don't have the training and experience to deal with the complaint. There's one food order till with the senior member of staff and somehow a queue out of the door! It's only not got a 1 star review as the location for drinks is decent and a park for the kids. Don't eat here if you want a bit of value for money!"

Really nice pub food with amazing service. Not pretentious locally owned pub. Amazing lasagne. Good place for young families.

We went to your Halloween disco event last night. Great value for money, fab atmosphere and even my picky youngest left a clean plate practically unheard of! We all had a great time and will definitely visit again soon highly recommend! View menu

Just under £20 for 2 pints and 2 j2o’s. Carvery was nice but , at £11.95 for a small is just a rip off. Very busy on a Sunday but noticed it was always quiet throughout the week. No surprise really .. All in all just overpriced for what it is .. A pub !!

This was a good pub with nice food. There was specials board in addition to the main menu. I'd stopped by a few days before to check if they had highchairs (yes and if you needed to book (no, but I'm sure they have busy times! They don't serve food on Monday or Tuesday and offer a carvery on a Sunday. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend

We called for Sunday lunch with the family, including a three year old. The food was delicious, atmosphere friendly full of families with dogs everyone outside as it was that extremely hot week. My grandson played in the play area between courses, which he enjoyed. A friend who lives in the area told us that even the locals pop in for Sunday lunch praise indeed! We would certainly call again. View menu

Visited on a busy Sunday and whilst we chose not to have the carvery (even though it looked delicious! we were able to pick from their regular menu and enjoyed our burgers. Popped back later in the week and had a lighter lunch toasties and a breakfast cob. On both occasions service was efficient and there was a choice of seating inside and out. What's more, beautiful hanging baskets! Will be back

Visited here with friends on two occasions and both times the staff was friendly and attentive despite being busy. Ordered a wide selection of food and drinks burgers, curries, lasagne, etc. All are prepared to great standards; fresh and hot when served. The staff were incredible allowing us to sit outside under heated lamps as we had a dog with us. Seems like the locals local, which is always a sign of a good location especially for Sunday Roast. Would visit again.
