"My friend and I found out about this place by mistake during our first day in Catania when we were still discovering the city. The opening hours are amazing as they are open till past midnight. Moreover, the authenticity and homemade sweets or coffee are the factors that really attracted us to the place. They can serve you anything from coffee till food. They are equally good in the salty bites as well as the sweet ones. However, what I liked most about this place are the staff! Energetic fun girls who really know how to take care of their customers. I would give them a 5/5 rating. I kept on going there every night until I left Catania and it would definitely on my top to do list when I revisit the city. In brief, they are clean, organized, the food and beverages are to die for and the whole concept of the place is so cosy and close to the heart!"

very nice place, easy to reach and great menu of piadines. very good the one with the raw ham and the squagger proves it sin not having taken the photo to the piadina because I was hungry, but it was great we say, warm and we satiated. I'll definitely come back.

We noticed this cute restaurant while walking downtown and I am so glad we went in . Comparing to other places in the area , everything we ate there was fresh and delicious. I personally loved their homemade muffins. Prices were unbeatable and overall we had a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely come back !

recommended place, the pines are of excellent quality, they are not the usual commercial piadines, the pasta is made with the addition of honey, instead with the strutto. you have the option to choose from different types of pasta: farro, 8 cereals, kamut, potatoes and turmeric, gluten-free and vegan. In addition to pineapple there is also a wide choice of handmade desserts and granite.

I don’t like writing bad reviews but we had 2 coffees from this place (one soy cappuccino one regular). Both were the worst we have had in Europe. We are Australian and know good coffee. My regular cappuccino was weak and the milk tasted very sweet. My gf’s soy was super sweet even though they said they did not put any sugar in it. Writing this as feedback for the owners, not to bag them. I’m sure the food is great as reviewed.

stuffed mafalda, oranges, chives, cakes for a snack...can no longer be! but an alternative will we find her in catania? Yes, the Romagna piadina with raw and shark, this stranger. in Sicily you will find abundant, chili, ricotta and provole but delicious cheese to the Romagna spoon there is no trace even in the gourmet shops. at the gnam gnam of via umberto finally for once in catania we could taste a soft integral piadina base with quality filling and we will definitely come back here to do more. gnam gnam!
