"Organised a team night out for 20 people at the Golden Cross (originally 30), James couldn’t have been more helpful in the organisation of it, really friendly and offering lots of options. None of us had ever been to the pub before, really pleased by the friendly welcome, lovely atmosphere and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming nothing was too much bother, checking throughout the night if all was ok. Food was lovely and and everyone really enjoyed their night. We will definitely be back, nice to have this as a local when staying at the Hilton T5 on weekly bases."

a very friendly pub where nothing is too much annoyed. great service and good full-fledged pub duve at a reasonable price. all food orders by phone and table service, so no paper menus.

I met my friend here for lunch as he was on my way to east sussex and she lives in swindon. my wobble and garlic allergy were not a problem, and the staff was so friendly. beautiful atmosphere of the pub and an extremely comfortable location also. Nice to see that covid compliant precautions are still taken and the table service was also very fast I back!
