Some great offers are available and although the food is nothing out of the ordinary is nice all the same. A good variety of meals are on offer. Is also very family friendly.

This is one of our most favourite places to eat out in Carlisle as a family. Very good for the children, excellant service and value for money. Usually busy at the weekends but service is quick enough.

Very busy when we went. But I had a curry wow, a curry to die for. Service was wonderful and really friendly. The only downside is its a tiny bit tired decor wise. But don't let that put you off food is wonderful and good price. Hurry back

The Gosling Bridge offers great value for their meals. They have a two for £10 deal Monday through Friday with a wide selection to choose from. The decor is charming, be sure to take a look at all the quotes around the bar. The staff are friendly, and if you end up having a bit too much to drink, there is a hotel attached.

This is a great family pub and great for bar meals as they do an offer of 2 meals for £10 monday to friday, it can be quite busy at times but there is plenty of seating and the staff are very helpfull, this is my local pub and its walking distance from me so i am there quite a lot. the meals are really good value for money and always taste fantastic. It has a lovely family friendly feel to the place and has a great kids menu aswell

I absolutely love to eat here as it is so good. We recently visited for a birthday celebration and it was lovely. The food was brilliant and really good value for money as they have great deals on. The staff were friendly and happy to accomodate our needs. Everywhere was clean including the loos. The service was fast which made the difference as we had children in the party. Would definitley reccommend here as a place for a meal and we will be ging back in the near future

My flatmates and I often visited The Gosling Bridge, a family-friendly pub, primarily for meals. One of my housemates worked there and could get regular discounts on food. The pub has a nice decor and the staff and customers at the bar are friendly. They offer a good selection of popular lagers, beers, wines, and spirits at reasonable prices. The food is decent, although sometimes the presentation is lacking and the side dishes seem frozen rather than fresh. Overall, it's nothing extraordinary but it satisfies hunger.
