"We had dinner there while looking out for a restaurant nearby. The place was empty but the menu looked very interesting and dishes were not run of the mill. A number of dishes also had half portions, so it is also good for trying out. As we were not very hungry, we ordered only 3 dishes. We had dumplings in chilli; steamed halibut with ginger and spring onions and a June special, eggplant stir fried with salted egg. All dishes were light and very very tasty, fresh and without any MSG (glutamate) or pre-made sauces. They tasted so good we wished we were very hungry to be able to try out other dishes!! The eggplant with salted egg was really unusual for us as the eggplant, capsicum and onions were stir fried with cubed salted egg white and the mashed egg salted egg yolk (those loving salted duck eggs have to try these!!!) The steamed halibut was very fresh and tender when steamed, the half portion is perfect for sharing for 2 when combined with a number of dishes. The boiled dumplings came with some boiled Chinese cabbage and the spicy chilli sauce (tastes like Siracha instead of the Szechuan chilli oil) was also very fresh and tasty. All the dishes tasted like how a friend's home would prepare lunch or dinner after school - something which I enjoyed during my childhood in Asia. The place is pleasant and service very friendly. We even received complimentary homemade barley drinks with smashed red beans, fresh ginger strips and mint leaves - really refreshing on a warm evening, the traditional Asian way to cool the body during hot weather - extremely healthy and vegan!I highly recommend this place and it will be a must whenever I am in Berlin. The food is exactly as they described and prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity. Also good choice for vegetarians and the monthly specials are written only in Mandarin, so ask the staff to recommend something and I am sure it will be tasty!"

Nice atmosphere in restaurant, shopping street. Food was good and fresh. Dumplings were nice. We shared several dishes which were all good. Enjoyed the evening.

It was our fourth visit in this restaurant, and i can say, that is the best chinese restaurant ever. The food is really great, especially dim sum ! So yummy. The waiters are nice, restaurant looks comfy, and prices are good. I recommend it ! :) :)

The food here is delicious and not expensive -- not greasy and beat all our family's expectations. We tried the home made dim sum and several other dishes. Also, the service was terrific. They cooked a couple of special dishes for my wife who is allergic to chili. Definitely recommend this restaurant compared to the others in the area.

We stumbled upon this place while walking along the long Kantstrasse. A small asian chinese restaurant with a terrace. We ordered fried duck and steamed fish, as well as the home made dumplings platter. Everything tasted great and did not feel greasy or so.! The service was very friendly too. Ive become a fan of this place and would recommend it to everybody.

The food is really delicious and not expensive at all!! It reminds me the food in Hong Kong :3 The environment and seats are very comfortable and beautiful. They have special homemade Chinese drinks and dim sums in which also must try. And mostly importantly, good services! Suitable for dating and friends gathering. Definitely recommended and will visit again when I come to Berlin next time :D

The Saigon Green is a couple of doors up but this looked more comfortable. I can not compare the prices but whatever the outcome the food here was delicious. Went twice as so impressed the first time. The dim sum were very tasty and fresh. The beef with black bean was one of the tastiest hot dishes I've ever had and I've had a few. Very good cooking, excellent, friendly service, good beer and not too expensive. What else could one wish for?

Walked past the store and noticed how cosy it was. Went in and never regretted it! If you decide to dine here, make sure you try the Mango-Coco-Curry Chicken else you will totally regret it! This combination of flavours works so well that I have returned a second time for it. The Xiao Long bao's (meat dumplings) I've ordered was also delicious and authentic. This kind of dumplings must have the juice in it when you bite it from the corner and it actually had it! Staff is nice and friendly and wont rush you which is a very positive thing. Fair to say, I had a very good experience at Green Flavor and I can totally recommend it to anyone who likes the Chinese cuisine.

What a find. Quiet family run authentic Chinese restaurant just behind the bustling Kurfürstendamm. A multilingual team made us feel very welcome, and even though we reserved, they would have found us a space anyway. The food is amazing. If you are visit from the UK, it won't be what you are used to. No nasty sticky mass produced sauces. Everything is home cooked from fresh, and you can tell the difference. The dumplings (all but one are steamed) are rich with flavours. Main courses are more limited in number, but no less tasty. Totally recommend the poached spicy beef. All main meals come with sticky rice. Ask for some noodles instead if there are two of you, so you can mix. English no prob...
