"We have just returned from an overnight stay at this lovely motel. It is easy to find and on arrival we were greeted by the most friendly and helpful staff. If I was to have a slight negative criticism of the motel it would be that the decor is a little dated but I think in a way this lends to its charm. The room was large and very spotless with plenty of tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable I had a great nights sleep as the room was very quiet. The two meals I had here (dinner breakfast) were absolutely lovely and plenty of it and the staff again were only too happy to help even though they were busy. Great stay brilliant staff so friendly I would recommend this motel and will definitely be staying again."

The food portions at this restaurant were very generous, and the service provided by the staff was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the full breakfast during my stay. The evening meal was delicious and the friendly staff did a great job cooking and serving it.

Took my parents here for a meal, it's a very tired looking place needs a bit of TLC, a basic menu but the food we had was nice but they stop serving food at 2 PM so the place is empty by then so there's no atmosphere, but the bar staff and waitresses are very friendly and helpful.

I was walking along a road not for from Greenacres when the landlord happened to pass by very slowly in his car, he had his window down and called me a peasant. I have known him for many years and was in school with him, he has never been like very much by a lot of people. I have never been in Greenacres and never will at any time in hte future. View menu

My friends and I went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch. I am visually impaired and have a guide dog, so we called ahead to let them know the dog would be coming, as we always do as a courtesy. They gave us a great table with plenty of space for the dog, near the bar. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and easy to approach.

I am writing this as I have just finished my meal hate and want to add to the previous comments. For pub food at the prices here, it was excellent. Big servings and food that was obviously cooked on site not straight out of a bag like Sizzler or weathersoon's. Week done to the staff. On a side note, my room here is bigger than expected and lovely hot water in the bath.

Social distancing not adhered to, tables to close together, staff not wearing any masks while breathing all over us at the table. Staff were not warm or friendly on arrival or during service. The Yorkshire puddings were straight out of the precooked frozen bags, they were not recooked soggy. As was the little piece of square stuffing not cooked. Very disappointing to say the least. Went for a drink and look to see if we could book a table Stood in queue for 15 mins and the lad behind was so slow ended up leaving. Greenacres are not following social distancing. 1. Not enough trained staff. 2. The seating area where people are queuing for the bar should be blocked as not 2 metres from queue 3. The dining area should have tables removed it like pre covid times. 4. No-one was ensuring social distancing. There were signs up but obviously no one could understand them and no one enforced them. VERY POOR

I visited this restaurant twice this month, once with my partner and another time as part of a coach trip. The meals were exceptional both times. As a couple, we both enjoyed the braised steak dinner, which was a generous plate with five different vegetables, tender meat, and delicious gravy. The second visit, we had the beef dinner which was just as good, with perfectly cooked vegetables and a large portion of meat. The staff were friendly and accommodating, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, a great dining experience that offers excellent value for money.

"So came here last night 13th oct. 9 of us 2 of which 2 young kids. Had starter , calamari this was ok, sauce was nice. Main was lovely which was lasagne really quite tasty it came with chips which were nothing special if im honest, i ordered a side of garlic bread with it which was nice, The host was a nice guy very chatty, the staff seemed a little clumsy if im honest, just as we sat down a tray of drinks went down the back of my sister because the waitress wasn't looking what she was doing although accidents do happen so no biggy, although I will say nothing was offered! No extra drinks, a free starter, nothing!!! This brings me on to the cost. Not much beer choice at all, consisting of draught peroni which was are you sitting down) £6.50 a pint! So I ordered a bottle of bishops finger which i thought was a 500ml bottle, it didn't say on the menu the size of the drink which i think it should have, Well the bottle came and it was a 330ml bottle!! £4.70 for a 330ml bottle!!! im sorry but thats to much, come on guys. We all had a starter and a main with dessert each, i had the newyork cheesecake, which was ok but tasted abit like something frozen, didn't seem home made to me anyway. The Total bill came to just over £400!!! £60 of which was a service charge i was told by someone on the table, but the owner has now said that there was no service charge so if this is the case then i apologise), we were a decent size group but you know when you've gone somewhere and feel that the cost is just too much. Nice restaurant but too expensive imo."
