Auf der Karte finden sich weiter Highlights für jeden Geschmack. Mit der passenden Weinempfehlung und dem feinen Nachtisch, wird das Ganze richtig abgerundet. "Nach ziemlich langer Pause waren wir mal wieder im Strandhaus. Das Reservierungsfenster von 2 Stunden hat uns etwas gewundert, aber letztlich bleibt man eh nicht viel länger. Der Empfang und der Service waren sehr freundlich. Die Inneneinrichtung ist immer noch maritim angehaucht und sehr gemütlich. Das Essen ist nach wie vor sehr gut, sowohl vom Grill, als auch aus dem Smoker. Ganz klasse ist, dass man seine Beilagen je nach Gusto selbst zusammenstellen kann. Die Speisen werden alle zum selben Zeitpunkt serviert und sind auf den Punkt zubereitet. Sehr lecker!! Da wir ein paar Tage auf dem Campingplatz verbringen, werden wir am Freitag das Indian Summer Menü probieren und sind schon voller Vorfreude. Und das wird dann auch sicher nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein, nächste Woche geht es sicher noch zweimal ins Strandhaus."

"Having read good reviews we were very pleased that we could book a table this evening and really looked forward to a delicious meal. There was a short wait for the charming waitress to take our order but the four of us ordered gourmet burgers at the same time as our drinks and we initially chatted happily as we waited for our meal. After an 80 minute wait we were less than happy. A group of 6 local people were also unhappy at waiting so long, so this was not a case of different cultural expectations. There was no apology or explanation when the food eventually arrived. The burgers would have been tasty but the temperature of all four varied from tepid to cold. It appears the burgers were cooked much earlier but had sat cooling for some inexplicable reason. One friend accepted the offer of sauce but the waitress forgot to bring it to him. Another ordered a second glass of wine when her meal arrived (having drunk the first whilst waiting) but this did not arrive until we had finished eating. When the waitress asked if our meals were good we said, "Well, they were cold". The waitress told us the food was not expected to be very hot as the bread was cold. We have eaten many burgers between us that have always been hot - these had been left to cool. All in all it was a huge disappointment. We have only once before not left a tip. It felt uncomfortable not to leave one but this meal was a huge disappointment and service was poor."
