I've had this dish from many different places across the UK for years, and unfortunately, this is one of the few takeaways that can't get it right. When I opened the tray, the overpowering smell of onion hit me, and the taste was overwhelmingly oniony as well. Strangely, it also had a sweet flavor—I've never encountered a sugary yuk sung before, and it definitely should not be so onion-heavy. I ended up throwing it out, which was a waste of good money. It looks like it will be a few more years before I make my way back here, and when I do, I will definitely be skipping the yuk sung."
