Staying in Barnham, and ordered take out as we couldn’t be bothered to go out honestly one of the best Chinese I’ve ever had, food was amazing, delivery, via taxi was within 25 mins, cannot recommended enough ! Thank you

We used Hakka for the third time last night and as always, it was fantastic. Arrived on time, piping hot and was absolutely delicious. The quality of the meat is always great, vegetables fresh, and sauces delicious. We are regulars now for sure

Haven't used this place for five years, had my reservations before I ordered and I was right. The chef simply can't cook. Batter was soggy and under cooked, curry sauce and sweet and sour sauce were watery. Special fried rice over cooked, noodles over cooked. Basically awful I will never be going there again. View menu

I really fancied a Chinese takeaway tonight, tried all my local ones, all closed. Thought I would try on line and found you guys.I placed my order thinking they would not deliver out so far. There was a wait time of just over one hour which was fine.It arrived in just 30 minutes, piping hot, amazing portions, tasted amazing and I have enough left for breakfast. I will definitely be using these guys again, and well done for carrying on a great service during the pandemic. The delivery man was spot on, distancing and a cheery smile. Thanks to all concerned, made my evening. Top service and fantastic food.

We have lived locally for 20 years and the Mandarin Chef is the benchmark for Chinese food. Unfortunate,y they do not deliver which I think is a mistake. We have used the Hakka before and the food was poor. Of late however we have revisited them and our last three deliveries have been outstanding. Have they changed owners? A new Chef? Either way they are very good now. We ordered a simple selection pancake rolls (excellent) and then Singapore noodles, black bean beef and rice. Great food. The beef was very tender with a wonderful smokey grilled taste. Keep it going Hakka we will keep using you if this new quality remains.

Me and my boyfriend ordered a few dishes from this takeaway restaurant one evening though the ‘just eat’ app. Firstly it was an estimated delivery of 45 minutes. Following placing the order it then jumped up to a further 40 minutes (total time of 95 minutes) we weren’t too hungry at the time and keen for Chinese so decided to stick with it. The time came for delivery... no sign of the food. We let it go 20 minutes until we called to see where the food was; after various muffles, rummaging and clicking around we heard someone in the background say ‘this is the worst job ever’ and ‘oh... it hasn’t been cooked yet’ the phone was then handed over to someone else who then told us that our food wa...
