"Though the location is hardly on many world travelers itinerary if you happen to be in the area looking for restaurant I would highly recommend to try this establishment for 3 reasons. For one you are stepping back into 1970 Germany. The interior reminded me of my late grand parents' living room. It may not be everyone's taste, but it is very unique and authentic. Secondly, you have a most spectacular view over the Elbe river. It is worth your while just sitting there and enjoying the view even if it is just for a coffee or tea. And last not least, the food is excellent with old school German style service. All in all a great experience!"

"Das griechische Restaurant Alexandros befindet sich in Hohnstorf (Elbe), direkt an der Elbe im Landkreis Lüneburg in Niedersachsen. Von hier aus gibt es einen fantastischen Ausblick auf die Altstadt Lauenburg (Schleswig-Holstein), besonders am Abend mit den Lichtern ein absolutes Highlight. Das Essen schmeckte köstlich und überzeugte geschmacklich. Hier wurde man herzlich empfangen vom freundlichen/motivierten Personal. Die Bestellungen verliefen schnell und problemlos ab und es gab zum Anfang noch einen Ouzo. Das Ambiente könnte besser im Innen/-Aussenbereich gestaltet sein (mehr griechische Gestaltung). Die Wirkung würde noch einladender und für noch eine gemütlichere Atmosphäre sorgen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hier vollkommen in Ordnung. Vor dem Restaurant gibt es ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Diese Bewertung wurde nach eigener Erfahrung beurteilt."

"The cheese citizen was stylish, super fresh, delicious rocket, not too much onion, light manko a little sauce, but this is my taste, fresh made, really good and saturating. Ambience a little karg, tables should be cleaned and ashtrays emptied. But stop is a delivery service with small dining area and no restaurant, service and service very nice."

"Waren mit größerer Gruppe da, Zimmer gut jedes für sich schnuckelig halt passend zur Fassade.Essen ist dort auch sehr gut,leider aber gibt es wenig für den Abend mal was leichtes nur schwere kost (aber lecker).Das Frühstücksbuffet lies keine wünsche offen aber wenn doch wurden auch diese erfüllt vom wirklich netten zuvorkommenden Frühstücks Personal*Kompliment an die Damen *"
