"We visit the lovely farm shop approximately twice weekly, the farm shop is excellently well stocked, with a fruit and vegetable ‘cart’ that is a lovely riot of colours, a very well stocked cheese counter, friendly and helpful butchers. However for me the absolute best is the truly artisan bakery! Freshly baked loaves, rolls, baguettes and pastries, the cake display looks absolutely scrumptious . However someone really needs to take a serious review of the coffee house. The staff are helpful and friendly and the ambiance is lovely, overlooking an apple orchard. We took the family for breakfast recently and both myself and my son ordered smoked salmon with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. My order had a huge mound of brown tinged smoke salmon hidden by the poached egg that was absolutely horrible (so bad I couldn’t eat it). My son thankfully had pink, fresh smoked salmon. How can your chef even consider to serve? I only fortunately ate one forkful. I also am at a loss as to why the cake display in the coffee shop is so boring and drab when you have a fantastic range of delicious freshly baked cakes in your bakery next door? Why do you sell stale (previously frozen) scones when you have a bakery making delicious cakes? We have decided we will continue to shop in your farm shop, but will sadly no longer visit your coffee house."

A newish venue so crisp and new modern decor. Service efficient but not overly friendly. Prices fair. Great seating with the very best of views.

Visited the farm shop for a few items. The veg is so overpriced and the service from the staff member at the deli counter was so rude,we would never use it again.

The wait was very long and the prices were very high. The staff was inattentive and rude. The parking lot was dangerous and uneven. The food was okay but not great. Overall, I wouldn't come back to this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and the lady at the Deli counter is always friendly and offers helpful advice. I often get my lunch from there and am always satisfied with the delicious food and high quality. View menu

First time we have been back since its refurbishment. The staff are still as friendly and the coffee is still as good tasting. Good seating both inside and outside and a very good farm shop adjoining. Free parking outside.

Ordered a vegan breakfast that was blended fruit and museli but the fruit was blended with ice so it was very watery and freezing cold. A sprinkling of museli went on top. For £7 i expected something that would at least be filling but this was not, it was very cold and miserable to eat.

The selection of produce is great, and the main shop is very nicely laid out. We particularly liked the meat and cheese counters. Many items did not have very clear pricing however, and we were slightly taken back when we realised the broccoli had cost us over £5..!? After comparing the prices with other similar local farm shops, their prices are definitely inflated in comparison. View menu

First time we have been back since refurbishment. Very disappointed. We each ordered a bacon bap and tea. Tea now comes as a bag in a mug gone are the individual tea pots. The bacon bap was very disappointing. It was a large, rather dull bap with two pieces of flabby bacon inside. I can’t eat fat that under cooked and so by the time I had pulled this off, the bap was almost empty! Prices have gone up, quality and value for money is very much lower. We are now looking for an alternative place to meet up

My daughter affectionately refers to this farm shop as the "cookie shop" because it used to be one of her favorite spots for a special treat. However, since the recent refurbishment, which has given the place a sleek and stylish new look, I believe that the quality of the food has declined. The portions, as well as the drinks, have become smaller and more expensive. The menu has also been limited, which may be understandable given the current situation, but it is disappointing to see the delicious salads and deli options replaced with a small serving of crisps or a handful of rocket leaves. It is a shame because we used to enjoy coming here. The staff could benefit from some customer service...

"Firstly I would like to say that this restaurant has just been refurbished, and it didn’t feel like an Italian restaurant, more like a cafe at the beach somewhere! It felt very sparse and most Italian restaurants I e been to have proper tablecloths on the table but these were plastic and I noticed one table it was tapped up underneath, in my opinion it needs to be made more warmly and have more of a family feel. The food was really nice, although I would advise anyone to make sure they double check their order as I chose chicken in a sauce really nice which came with vegetables but I also asked for a separate portion of potatoes, when it arrived I just had chicken with a few cut up potatoes and a very very small garnish of salad ! I mentioned this to the waitress who had taken our order and she said I know but the chef had given you extra salad !! Sorry but salad is not vegetables , it clearly said on the menu it came with vegetables. Having said about the above issue, the meals we all had were nice and the staff gave us a very warm welcome and because of the blip they said we could have a free pudding…..not sure if we all did or it was just mine but I never see the bill as we were treated to this. To finish the evening off we were given a lovely limoncello shot. We would definitely go back. Thankyou for a lovely evening in your restaurant"
