"Okay, so this is a difficult one to score really as I wish I could give it 5 stars for the waitress alone. Her name was Jade and she was absolutely brilliant. She was so friendly and fantastic with my little boy. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I hope she is valued by management as she really is a big asset to your pub. However, her working conditions were appalling. She was running about here, there and everywhere, she looked exhausted. There were no other staff to be seen and I even saw her asking for assistance but this was not given. We had to wait nearly an hour from finishing our meal to getting our dessert. I would have normally complained and walked out but I just couldn 't do that to the waitress. She was manning half the pub, taking orders, making drinks, serving food, cleaning tables. Apart from this, the food was good to be fair and the actual pub itself is very nice. We were on holiday so I don 't know what it used to be like but if these are the conditions your staff work under on a regular basis then you will soon lose customers and gain a bad reputation. Sort out your staffing issues and look after and appreciate the excellent ones you have as if you have a team of Jade 's then wow, you will have a top notch pub."

Same as usual, depending on what you order, we had early menu 2 courses and it was very good.

Service was great to begin with but got busier and was noticeable with service. I went for the light option which was tasty, and hubby/kids food was really nice too! (Although little dude described his beans as tasting like potatoes! #avoid)

best experience in a restaurant, full stop. the server were amazing and took the time to play and draw with our little one, and forced them on their dress! that was nice to eat. Many thanks to tania and clare that we visit our lunchtime beautiful and welcoming.

Food was an improvement on our last outing to the Harvester. Trimmed down menu which meant they are perhaps better at delivering what is left upon it. Enjoyed the food. It was served hot and cooked well. Miss the bacon bits though from the salad bar. Please reinstate!

I wanted to leave an impeccable review for Jade at the Harvester Swindon who was such a star. She was clear in communications that they had no staff and so there would be delayed service. Despite this she still was amazing. She was the only member of staff running around to accommodate for all guests and was so polite and helpful. Definitely deserves a promotion and a pay rise for her amazing work ability and work ethic. Thank you Jade!
