"This was my favourite place I stayed in throughout all of Scotland. Service- impeccable. Each and every staff member we encountered at the Inn were friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about making our stay better. Even service in the restaurant was wonderful. Location- this is only a short ride outside of Portree. If you’re looking to be IN the big tourist destination, this may not be the best option for you. But if you’re looking to get out of the hustle and bustle and into a small and cozy inn, this is it! Not to mention they have water view rooms, AND gum boots in most sizes for you to go exploring out in the mud flat outside of the hotel. This was such a surprise and a super fun activity! Rooms- phenomenal! We booked a double and Queen sea room, as they unfortunately were out of a 2nd queen room. We were simply able to push the two double together. The queen room was spacious, and the double room was the size of a standard hotel room in the USA. They both had walk in showers, towel warmers, and everything was updated and decorated tastefully. The breakfasts that were included with our room price were delicious and started each morning off right. We also ate in the restaurant the first evening we were here, which was equally as delicious. Couldn’t recommend more! Thank you to the whole team at the Hebridean Inn for such a lovely stay! We will be back during our next trip to Scotland, and will be recommending for all family and friends to stay here."

Awesome spot! The plant-based food is both delicious and nutritious, plus the service is outstanding and the rooms are great. This has become my new favorite place to stay on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Rooms: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5

I didn't stay at the hotel but I did eat at the restaurant. The waitress is lovely and super friendly. I had the venison which was amazing along with all the additonal bits featured. My compliments go to the venison but the chef as well because everything was a treat for the taste buds. I'd go again! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 View menu

The staff was very attentive, flexible (we had to leave early and got the full breakfast beforehand) and super friendly! There was a very great selection for breakfast (super tasty), and the dinner also tasted great. The Kerrera room was equipped with everything you need and beautifully decorated. Overall super satisfied, we would come back in a heartbeat! Rooms: 5

We stayed at Hebridean for 2 nights to explore the Isle of Skye. Unfortunately we were in one of the non-renovated rooms, which was less nice, especially with the bathroom, but the room was absolutely fine for 2 nights. The breakfast was delicious but the dinner was really great!! We have never eaten as well as here on our vacation! The staff is also super nice and attentive! Rooms: 3

The only unfortunate part of our stay at the inn was that the restaurant was not open during our stay. There are other great food options in town too so it didn't phase us much but we would have loved the opportunity to eat at the restaurant. The rooms were very nice and kept very clean. Our room, as I believe they all do, had a spectacular view overlooking the neighboring loch. We greatly enjoyed our stay, I would highly recommend. Rooms: 5 View menu

We had a perfect stay and would rate it a 5 out of 5. The staff were incredible—friendly and attentive. The food was beautiful and shouldn't be missed. Our room was clean, spacious, and offered a stunning view of the Loch. The Hebridean Inn is a true gem, and we would certainly stay here again when we visit Skye. The rooms are lovely, and Skye offers everything you need for an ideal holiday. The food and drinks were absolutely gorgeous. Overall, we would give the rooms a 5!

After a long walk on the island with friends we cleaned ourselves up and found the nearest eatery. This was the Hebridean Inn. As walk-ins, after a warm welcome and drinks, we were told there would be a short delay till we could order our food. At the time we were told, our server appeared to take our orders, shortly thereafter, two beef shin, one venison steak and some beautiful scallops arrived. Apologies for no photos but we were hungry. All I can say is we all ate and drank ourselves very happy. Look forward to eating here again soon! Ps cant comment on rooms as we didn't stay there

"We 've finally done it, after too long we got to experience the magnificent Three Chimneys. From entering to leaving the whole experience was magical. We were met and greeted by the wonderful front of house staff and really made to feel welcome. Throughout the course of the meal we got to chat to nearly all members of the team, such a great contrast of characters and personalities, yet all boasted the same high level of attentiveness, and professionalism you 'd come to expect from such an establishment. The vibe is really interesting, you may walk in in your finest suit, and you will be treated to a high class fine dining experience. On the other hand, you may pop in in your walking boots, just off the hills and be treated to a lovely relaxing country pub-vibe lunch. How this is achieved is beyond me, but everyone seems to be given the experience they are looking for. The menu, is by far one of the most interesting I have come across yet. First off, it 's the same menu for lunch as it is dinner, so you can have the same marvellous experience regardless of your time preference. Second, it 's not your normal, run of the mill a la carte format. The menu progresses in courses, with suggested dishes for each, entrées, course 1, 2 and 3, and finally desert. The menu is designed in such a way that as you move forward throughout each course, the dishes will get more rich, however you aren 't restricted to any give dish in any given order. you can start with something from course 2, jump back to some fish off of 1, enjoy some entrées, then finish with something off of course 3. Your partner can do something quite different. What an excellent way to dine if you so wish. Finally, the food and wine. Of course it was exquisite. The locally sourced fish and meat was at it 's finest. Master crafted dishes, brought to life by Scott Davies. Each dish was very different, yet the whole experience tied together perfectly. We really did mix-it-up , and yet the contrast between each course was perfect, at no point did anything feel jarring or odd. As you 'd expect, the quality was superb. We had several red wines and several white wines throughout the meal, each was perfectly selected for us based on our attempt to describe what we liked and the dishes we had ordered. We ended our meal with some superb port, sherry and a couple of cheeky cocktails. You really can have as much or as little as you like, without pressure and time constraints. We 'd just like to say a huge thank you to both front of house staff and the kitchen for making our experience everything we had hoped for and so much more. You really made us feel like friends. All in all, an amazing experience."
