"When we arrived we were the only people at the counter and the restaurant was empty. It was as if we were interrupting the staff and it was bothersome to take an order. We ordered 5 meals: the Baked Potato arrived with cheese and beans that had been microwaved, the BarBQ Chicken Burgers were dry and not dressed, the Chicken Goujon burger had 2 small pieces of chicken and the soup and sandwich were ok. The Garlic Fries were more oily than garlic butter. The restaurant itself was cold and dreary, could do with a face lift and more lights."

Hot, tasty and the most amazing gravy. Great choice and lovely staff. Visiting NI on holiday, will eat here again before we go home.

Disgusting microwaved food, Overpriced for something that’s sitting for hours and then microwaved. The 3 meals we ordered was totally inedible.

When I 'm in the area I try to visit '22 '. The staff are friendly and whether you are resting your legs with coffee doughnuts or filling up with a breakfast fry, they will accommodate. Recommended.

My family visited the cafe twice this week and can highly recommend. The first day we had scones and on the second visit had turkey dinner and lasagne and chips. There’s a great selection of food to choose from whether you just want something light or something more filling. It’s great value and quality food and the staff were very friendly.

This small restaurant is a gem with incredibly friendly staff. They welcome dogs and even had a treat jar for the furry customers. Although we didn't have a full meal, the hot food being served looked and smelled delicious. We indulged in some white chocolate scones, which were yummy, and enjoyed a few lattes that were nice and hot, and very tasty.

The home-cooked food at No. 22 was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices were very reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, which consisted of cottage pie, peas, chips, quiche, salad (and I may have stolen some of my husband's chips). Additionally, the pot of tea came with a little pot of hot water for refills without us even having to ask for it!

Never heard of this place until my nana brought me the other day I was so pleasantly surprised! The food was so fresh and tasty. I got a cheese bacon burger which was so good for a great price! For soup, sandwiches, a burger, traybake, coffee and tea it all cost around £13! The service was also great as well- the ladies were so friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend and will be returning when I'm up this way again!

"Visited lost Found in Portstewart last Friday afternoon for some lunch. Checked the outdoor menu which stated food served until 3.30pm. Went ahead on inside. Started to briefly read the menu at the till as aware from previous visits that you order on arrival yourself at the counter. Was told by the female counter staff that we had 8 minutes to place our order and to take the menus to the table. We did this. Then when we said excuse me to the same member of staff, from our table, that we’d like to order, we were told we had to come back to the till. This made no sense whatsoever. From the moment we stepped in and were told that we had 8 minutes to order should have been the red flag I guess. Friday afternoon, not long till closing, they just didn’t want to be bothered prepping two rounds of food, The two members of staff in the premises had the worst attitude and no ounce of personality to be in the role that they are in. Every thing seemed to be a complete bother. May I also add, the food was very skimp, re portion sizes plus they seem to care more about the presentation than the food itself re the logo branded paper underneath the food. Try attempting to cut sourdough bread on this, not easy unless you want a mouthful of paper. Then when it comes to hot drinks, no sugar or milk provided. Yet again had to approach the till and ask for these to be provided with milk in a paper cup yet another couple had a glass jug of milk on their table (less dishes to wash I guess) and no white sugar at all, had to make do with brown sugar for tea. When asked for refills of hot water we were given a half full glass of this and then when asked for it to be filled up, yet again a whole botheration. Oh and don’t even get me started on the toilet facilities. Dingy to say the least. The premises in portstewart should never have reopened when it did as Lost and Found, previous owner/cafe was far more superior in all ways. Will not be back"
