"The service is just appalling. It does not even deserve one star. When we arrived, nobody from the personnel (ca. 10 people running around) had the courtesy to say a simple “hello” to us. After several minutes, we elected to sit outside where we wanted. We waited again there, until one waitress came to give us menus, but without saying one single word to us. Then we waited again for a while, to the point we went inside and tried to get some attention. I said “hello” to one waiter who walked past us, to which he replied a quick “hello” and went away without giving me the possibility to talk to him. So I tried to call him and he literally shouted angrily at me saying he was busy carrying one empty bottle and a couple of empty glasses back to the kitchen. The place was far from being crowded and the personnel had more than enough time on their hands to be nice, but they just were not. Not caring about customers, letting them wait, shouting at them and being disrespectful is not acceptable."

location central, beautiful monument, is a visit worth bus transfer, beautiful view, waterfalls and fontane, but is often overflowing. kiosk. parking near, not barrier-free

what it is nice to say. who comes to kassel should visit the hercules and the mountain park. a clear recommendation. the view from above is great and hardly surpassed. up there is a bus line that starts at the end stop of the line 3. they use this visit and learn the best of kassel. View menu

I am surprised to find such a beautiful cafe near the herkules statue. I sat down with some of my friends for cappuccino and ordered some sweets. the waffel and parfaits are simply incredible. better than most places in Germany that have specialized in desserts! great place to stop between hiking.

A very welcome resting place, after climbing from the Schloss to the Hercules statue. It has a spectacular view over the city Kassel. Seating where comfortable and service is average. I was a bit dissapointed in the pricing but food was well prepared. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy nature while eating and or drinking. Well worth a visit
