Wir waren am zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag hier Essen. Alle Gerichte waren schnell da, reichlich bemessen und lecker. Eine Reservierung ist dringend zu empfehlen auch an normalen Tagen). The restaurant has a marble charm. Nothing has changed here for decades. A little fresh color on the walls, as well as on the radiators (are light brown) would not be bad. The decoration is more than cheesy. If you want to eat well, you should also vote for the ambience. The young man behind the counter found no word for greeting. He might want to travel, had already packed his hands (in the pockets). The food is recommended. But I wonder what the kitchen looks like in relation to the restaurant? As long as it looks like this in the restaurant, I won't be a guest here anymore.

We ended up in the Hexenmühle quite unexpectedly. A nice, quaint restaurant in a small town surrounded by greenery. There are parking spaces, but not many. Limited street parking is also possible. We were lucky because we were quite late and managed to get a table for lunch on Sunday afternoon. Restaurant was very well attended. We had Jäger schnitzel with fried potatoes. A very tasty mixed side salad was served with it. The schnitzel was really tender. Or rather the two schnitzels!!!! The portion was more than enough. I just wish there were a little more mushrooms.
