"A small Japanese restaurant with a comprehensive menu. My thoughts were that if they can get some of the basics and classics right you can guarantee that you can order anything and come away satisfied. The good thick cut tuna sashimi, a satisfying miso soup and melt in the mouth unagi proved Minnie's sushi has got it exactly right. The service was friendly and quick. They may have to improve their Yakitori- the cooking and saucing of it. A slight disappointment there but overall the rest of the dishes made up for it. The junmai sake served warm and their plum wine was very good too. Another great addition to the Southsea's ever expanding Japanese culinary experiences. "Absolutely delicious! I had the fajitas and my mum had the chilli. We really enjoyed the fajitas were very filling and tasted incredible. Although the chilli was beef there was very little meat in it which was a bit disappointing. None the less it was very good and we enjoyed it. Customer service was excellent and they accept blue light card at the moment. The prices have certainly increased. The local ones near me (which are now closed) priced chicken fajitas from £11.95-£13.95) now in this one it was nearly £16 which is A LOT and that's why I rated it 4 not 5 BECAUSE although it was delicious it was not value for money. (The one I had in the picture is not the chicken one it has extra meat)"

"Been about a year since last visiting, and pleased to report that the food and service is still superb.From the chicken pakora starter, that was so tasty and juicy, seeing the herbs in the batter mix, to the daily specials on offer. All cooked superbly. And the thing that makes Kadirs stand out is their genuine interest in making sure you enjoy your food and if you want to know about what you're eating they will take the time to explain it to you.Tried a recommended competitor recently and that was massively disappointing, boring food and no interaction from the staff..... If you want some unusual dishes, that are sublime, a relaxed atmosphere (without white table clothes), great service then Kadir's is for you to try."

"We went for my adult daughters birthday, it was mediocre, Server came took drinks order about 1 min later another one came for food order, then hot food came out luke warm, they bought the meat round in the beginning very fast then when one of the party asked for chicken hearts they said just cooking 20 mins that was not an issue but they never came to our table again. One of the staff spilt a whole glass of coke down my daughter he did get nudged by a customer and he did try and clear up as best as he could. The manager reluctantly gave us her meal for a kids price and 3 drinks free... the staff where spending more time talking at the cooking area. To be honest I think it is overpriced for what it is the food is Ok nothing special I wouldn't rush back or rush to recommend it. Also the drinks are expensive bottle of wine £38.50!!!"

"My husband and I love Nara Sushi Bistro. The food is excellent and the buffet offers a lot of variety for all tastes. The place is nothing special to look at and the service is generally good so can not complain. Atina is lovely, very friendly, and attentive. We have visited when it has not been busy and service is ok but you do sometimes have the get their attention to order some more food or pay the bill. They do sometimes miss items off the order but we just have to get the staff back to remind them and they then bring it over, so its not a big deal. Over all we find the place great value for money, food is incredible but service can be hit or miss but nothing that ruins our dining experience."
