"Beautifully located restaurant in the old town of Besigheim. The ambience is especially determined by the market placeidylle and is ideal for evening or Sunday excursions. Absolutely in summer enjoy a glass of kerner at the well. The service staff was very accommodating, even in the search for a place in the footing area that was released later. During the stay, the service staff was never intrusive and tried to operate quickly and politely despite high-speed operation. The menu is pleasantly clear and not overloaded with dishes. In addition to typical Swabian specialities, there are vegetarian dishes and Mediterranean vegetables with various supplements. My accompaniments had the salad with turkeys and the hunter's carving. The salad was fresh, appealing and with the right amount of homedressing. The Slayer was neat, just a touch too dry. The late lions, however, were overwhelming. I also had the impression that she had made mushroom sauce herself. I had the vegetables with Gambas. For 15,90 € the portion was very small. For the comparable price, I would have also got the salad with Gambas, which is a bit larger. Despite the small portion, the vegetables were fried in olive oil, but in the perfect amount, so not floating in the oil. Only with a very small percentage of gambas the intestine was still present. Except for the mentioned little things a successful evening!"

I personally don't find the cheese parrots very successful! Salads very delicious! The nightstands. After drinks could be looked more often.... Too little demand!

Ambience somehow uncomfortable, reception and service sadly friendly. Eating well, what to say, enthusiasm is different. Taste misdisplay, quantity ok. We've been there in the summer, something different. Would not go any more out of today's experience. Reservation on this page was not entered, so table was not reserved. Can't say what it was, but guess it was the service itself.
