"My girlfriend and I recently had a short break in Berlin towards the end of November and we had put this place on our shortlist of possible places to eat before we got there. On our second night we went out to eat at about...7, hoping to get there before it got too busy so that we could get a table. We arrived and they could just squeeze us in which was great. My girlfriend ordered the pulled boar burger with parmesan truffle fries and I had the Klassik burger with plain fries with plum curry sauce and chilli lime mayo. Both meals were delicious. My girlfriend absolutely loved her pulled boar burger. It looked amazing! Plenty of pork, really messy and juicy. She had a Moscow mule to drink which was made and presented really well. My burger was really, really good too. Maybe the actual patty was a touch too small. If the party had been a bit thicker it would have been the perfect burger. But cooked well, juicy, full of flavour. The buns and the salad complimented the burgers really well too. Now, I loved the chips but that's because I love the crispy small end pieces. Both portions of chips were just made up of the small crispy pieces. I'm not sure if this is how they do the chips here or if we were unlucky to get the last of the batch. Again, I must stress I'm not complaining because I love my chips like that but I can understand other people not enjoying them as much. The plum curry sauce was awesome by the way! And I will be stealing that idea for my business. And a great selection of beers too! Seemed like the beers had actually been thought about and selected to go with the food. I was advised by one of the guys to have a Grevensteiner which was really tasty. The service was great too. Friendly and personal and polite even with me trying to speak terrible German. A great place for a burger."
