"General The Hotel/Restaurant Hof Barrl has been extensively renovated. It is an old-eating plant known in the region according to one of the former owners (Karl Wachtmann) under the name curve carl. The restaurant is situated in a single location on the Bundesstraße 3 in an elongated curve. We were eating in the restaurant a few years ago. The service was good, the food below average. It was time for a new visit. Service The reception was friendly. We chose a square dim among the big oaks. The orders were received quickly. The dishes were served in a reasonable time. A special request was met and asked if the food is okay. Essen The map is clear and focuses on regional dishes. We chose the following dishes: grill plate with turkey, beef and pork, a slice of bacon, herbal butter, sour-cream, potato columns and a large salad plate as well as a barrler wedding soup and the barrler peas plate with two pork jars, adult bacon, gedifed vegetables, sauce Hollandaise, roasted potatoes onions. The meat at the grill plate was fried and dry. The little salad plate was fresh. The negative is to be assessed from the bucket. The finished sour cream and the potato columns were tastefully fine. The wedding soup looked optical. That's how she tasted. The **** steaks corresponded to my expectations. The powdered vegetables were not bistable and tasteless neutral. The roast potatoes were fine. The big salad plate was fresh. The herb salad was from the bucket as described above. Ambiente The hotel/restaurant is surrounded by ancient oaks and beech. The property has a considerable size, is well maintained, has a large parking lot and offers riders the opportunity to place their horse. In the well-maintained outdoor area, the guest can enjoy the restaurant offer among large leaf trees and parasols. The restaurant offers an indoor dining room and a hall. Hof Barrl is well known for his Sunday dance tea events. The facility is modern, in white and makes a harmonious impression. In the restaurant the tables were covered with white tablecloths. Cleanliness The cleanliness was as good as we can see. We visited the toilets."

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit mit 190 Gästen im Hof Barrl gefeiert und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war super lecker und die Getränke waren top. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und einladend gestaltet und das Personal ist freundlich. Wir können das Gasthaus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren heute spontan im Restaurant und waren positiv überrascht! Sehr, sehr leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung. Preis-/Leistung passt auch. Nur 4 Sterne, da die Zwiebeln beim Rumpsteak gefehlt haben, Nachbestellung hätte da nicht funktioniert, da dann der Rest kalt geworden wäre. Wir kommen aber auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir waren zu Zweit ohne Reservierung mittags dort und fühlten uns sofort wohl. Wegen der Pandemie gab es keine Tellergericht, aber ein Buffet in bester Qualität! Ein wunderbares Hotel mit Seele und schöner Atmosphäre. Die Liebe der Betreiber ist spürbar im Haus, im Service und den Speisen. Ein Haus das einlädt zum entspannen und genießen. Wir haben im September 2021 unsere wunderschöne Hochzeit im Hof Barrl gefeiert. Bereits schon bei den Vorbereitungen haben wir uns super aufgenommen gefühlt und die gesamte Feier war ein Traum: großartiges Essen, nette Bedienung und auch der Preis stimmt. Insbesondere die schönen neu gestalteten Zimmer, in denen wir die Nacht verbracht Haben, sind Geschmackvoll rustikal eingerichtet. Wir würden das familiengeführte Unternehmen unter der Leitung von der super netten und kompetenten Familie Wachtmann uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!!
