"I was allowed to visit Hofgut Dösterhof for the first time this weekend. And find it terrifying that I wasn't there before! Great location, great team and delicious food on top, what does Man(n) want more? The Hof Café invites you to stay with its beautiful outdoor area. Especially with a child I find the Dösterhof worth a trip, because the farm is still properly managed and has own stables with animals. This can be visited, which is always a highlight for small children. The Festsaal, I assume that it was a barn, offers a great ambience for celebrations of any kind. For weddings and birthdays I would recommend a company size of up to 80 people. For business events such as lectures and conferences a maximum of 120 people. A small terrace and a large meadow are directly connected to the Festsaal. Another advantage are the guest rooms directly above the festive room here you can fall into bed after a long party night. I'm looking forward to the next time I get back to the Dösterhof farm."

We were a guest of land pleasure. It is a beautiful farm with very great animals. The huge eggs of the East Frisian gull were particularly good. The sourdough bread also. Here you can spend super relaxed a great day. Thank you very much.

We have been on holiday with our two children for the second time and love this place! On the small playground the kids feel really comfortable and in the Hofcafé you can enjoy wonderful food. The farm is extremely well maintained and clean! Only to recommend: we will certainly not have been the last time there!

We celebrated our wedding in the Festsaal and were very happy. There were no involuntary empty glasses, the food was mega tasty and very well calculated from the crowd and the wedding cake bombastic. Only the agreements in advance were somewhat cumbersome because of the separate responsibilities of the opponents. View menu

We were allowed to celebrate our wedding at the wonderful farm last weekend. We had an unbelievably beautiful celebration! The farm is simply beautiful and has contributed to the good mood. The staff is super warm and friendly. The food was great! There were also only positive feedback from our guests! Keep going! Thanks

Very nice place, but we had a bad day. The service has long been waiting. One had the impression that they were not interested in receiving a food order after the beverage order. But it must be noted that they were mostly friendly and nice. Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't blow us off the stool at all. Too bad, since the court has a lot to offer as a wedding location...

We were there for dinner. Anyone who likes cooking, feels the difference, here is cooked exclusively with fresh, healthy ingredients and naturally prepared. The card is neither too small nor too large, the food has tasted wonderfully, was appealingly dressed, fair portions, the plates are warmed... everything really recommended to the detail. The atmosphere in the beer garden is wonderfully quiet and cozy, in the middle of a dreamlike nature. I'm really convinced. View menu

Thank you for an unforgettable wedding. The food was incredibly good. Staff polite, accommodating and always in place. The location is beautiful. The rooms are well maintained and very harmoniously furnished. Every wish is read from the lips. Whether boss or assistant, everyone is trying to create an unforgettable experience for the guest. I can only tell DANKE. We like to come back, irrespective of whether for a festivity to make holiday or to shop in the farm shop.

We were on 01.07.2023 at Hofgut Dösterhof, where the first artisan market took place. Unfortunately, the weather was not very nice, and yet the market was really great and you can hope that there will be more markets like this in the future, because it is very nice there. I also found it great that there was a vegan food there. Very, very good. Thank you. The less beautiful I found it as a vegan, of course, that I saw there hanging a freshly slaughtered cow that was further processed. I had tried to hide it. In the shop there were delicious things we bought vegetables, jam and bread (of course many other foods) and the sellers were also nice.

"My best friend and I now celebrated on the 4th. Let's have a round birthday together. She's the first to do, I'll follow next year. A high on long-term friendship, you have to create! Between our birthdays are 367 days. Your 50th birthday party will be moved in the summer and our plan was our 99th. to celebrate very close circle. Girlfriend, man, daughter, PetraIO and her favorite companion. The village of Weiskirchen in the Saarland gave my girlfriend a wellness weekend. The Saturday evening should not take place at the hotel and so I was allowed to deal with the few alternatives. I immediately discovered the School Kättchen. At the menu, I immediately knew everyone was going to be there. And the ambience with the greatest possible omission of electric light would also please my full romantic friend. She is also a teacher. The more than 160-year-old farmhouse served temporarily as a school, a traveling teacher taught here. At the same time we arrived in front of the rustic farmhouse and entered the original premises through a heavy wooden door. . There is still much in the original state, e.g. the old tile floor, wooden beams etc. It is complemented with harmonious decoration from past times. The guest room is actually only illuminated with candles and a few light chains. , Very unusual, but the eyes quickly became accustomed to the cozy light. The presumed head of the house was right at the place and supplied us with food and drinks cards. Also the rest of the evening she accompanied us sovereignly, supported by Mr Repplinger. We were the first guests, briefly exchanged congratulations and gifts, and within 5 minutes almost all tables were occupied. That was incredibly fast and I was very happy to have booked in time. For aperitif we chose 3 x Riesling Sekt from Moselweingut Rosch € 5,00 0.1 l and 1 x Campari Orange € 4.20. The “child” got a soft cocktail with orange juice and fresh pomegranate juice € 5,00. 2 bottles of Tönissteiner mineral water, € 6,00 0,75 l. 1 apple juice choir, € 4,00 0.4 l. Our appetizers: For my husband: 3 potato buffer with applesa € 8.70. The potato buffer homemade and crispy baked, with plenty of apple. One of my husband's favorite foods, unfortunately there are the potato buffers in the gastronomy much too rarely freshly prepared. This was absolutely the case here and so it tasted. For my girlfriend and me: goat cheese congratulates on leaf salad € 13.80. A large slice of mild creamy goat cheese, congratulates with good and taste-intensive honey. For this impeccable leaf salad with very good and light balsamicodressing. Gratined goat cheese with salad The daughter was satisfied with a colourful supplement salad € 4.50 and her father with herbal quarter with garlic and fresh land bread € 4.50. In front of the main foods we stumbled in the very well placed wine map. The good houses are represented by the German winemakers. You can't make a mistake when ordering. The foreign wines certainly also, but I cannot judge that. Our choice fell to the 2017 Riesling, again from Rosch, Leiwen. 0.2 l € 6.50. And the 2018 Grauburgunder from the pfälzer Weingut Klaus Meyer, Roth. 0.2 l € 6.50. Our dishes were served together and on well preheated plates. For my husband and my friend: truffleravioli (from the Pastamanufaktur Romana, Homburg), olive oil, tomato garlic and 3 Black Tiger shrimps. truffleravioli, olive oil, black tiger shrimps For me the same dish, but with 3 scallops. € 19,50. truffleravioli, olive oil, 3 scallops The shrimps and scallops really big and roasted on the point glassy. The Ravioli could have been a few more. Also the truffle taste quite behave, but the spicing of the kitchen made up everything here. Very good olive oil, the garlic well dosed, very fine! The child liked the small portion spaghetti with 3 Black Tiger Shrimps € 17,50. The portion was not small at all, but the pasta and shrimp lover mastered the portion perfectly. And our friend the vegetables chicken pan, slightly sharp, € 17,50. Potatoes and plenty of fresh Mediterranean vegetables served as a chicken fillet. Here too, everything was for satisfaction. This time a dessert was not allowed to miss the offer. Our presumed chief in the service was available with advice and deed. 2 x cream brûlèe with self made raspberry sorbet € 7.80 for mother and father that creamy sorbet the mutti migrated to daughter. Cream brûlèe with raspberry sorbet 1 x world best chocolate pudding from 70%chocolate, with cherry ragout € 6.80 for my husband. However, he ordered the cherry ragout. He probably wanted to devote himself to the pudding and he was really incredibly good. World's best chocolate pudding from 70 %chocolate without cherry ragout Also for me a minidessert: 1 balls homemade pistachio ice cream € 3,00. I like pistachio ice cream. But where is there a good one? It tastes like pistachios and not aroma? HERE! Tastefully top and Mr Repplinger confirmed my suspicion: In the kitchen the Pacojet helps! This part is really worth his money. But the ice mass must, of course, vote. I liked to take the Physalis to the ice, and I could have forgot the dough. The kitchen did so much good and homemade this evening, so the industry didn't really fit waffle rolls. Small and fine: Perfect pistachio ice cream 1 espresso € 2.00 and 1 latte Macciato € 2,80 there was also. When paying at the counter, I asked the young man who was probably primarily responsible for the drinks, as the “School” is now said. I was wrongly on the English trip. But no, very typical Saarland “School”. A really successful evening and a very personal little birthday party were finished. We were all thrilled and sure: we will be back soon. And not until you can enjoy the food in the lush natural garden! Photographing was really a challenge this evening. Just candles, beautiful. I didn't want to take pictures with Blitz. The cosiness was certainly not created to interfere with lightning. All dishes were beautifully dressed and of impeccable quality."

"General: With a friendly couple we returned to the Gellbersch House for dinner, you should book, because the restaurant is always well visited. Eat: The German Mediterranean curled menu offers enticing Jacob's mussels on pasta nest swung in Chilli Lauch Pesto, various salads, Argentinean rump steak and giant garnels on Tagliolini with cocktail tomatoes and a small selection of vegetarian dishes up to a 1⁄2 chicken for every taste. Actually, I was looking for chickens as I learned on request, but it is prepared in the fryer. I like the German favorite pet either prepared in the oven, grill or convectomat or not at all. Our choice fell on appetizers beef soup with home. Cheese sauces with sauces of € 4.20 (my choice) Evaluation: quality and freshness of the ingredients were perfect; the dishes are prepared and visually appealing. At the beef soup there was nothing to put out, a beef-force broth, which was pleasantly taste-intensive due to long chefs and fresh soup herbs, with self-made, loosely cooked awnings with fine muscat notes, tasted like “mothers”. 5* A good choice was the chicken breast fillet, a lush breast fillet, encased in lean parma ham, sharply fried over wonderfully spicy spicy herb Sherry Sauce, a successful culinary treat for dipping the perfectly fried white butterfly juicy fillet and the al dente advised Tagliolini. A pleasantly hearty dominance of rosemary and sage. 5* The supplemental salads consisted of fresh day crunchy leaf salads with a courageously very piquant, for my wife a little too “salt-lasting”, for my taste nerves but perfectly smacked slightly ally Balsamico potato housedressing for kneeling down. 5* I was allowed to taste the Argentineian Rumpsteak, as it was not possible for my wife to thank God with 300gr. A great piece of meat, a limp of about 6cm thickness, long appendage, not saved with spices, equipped with the “required” roasted aromas and served a point medium, beautiful pink, tender and juicy on the preheated plate. 5* Also our companions were absolutely satisfied with your choice. Too bad the dessert was not a worthy conclusion for the previous palate; the vanilla ice cream tasted like “supermarket large pack in offer”, already at the first spoon ice crystals crawled between the teeth, as if the cooling chain had been interrupted during transport, as well as the whipped cream, which looked a little and with a light film on the surface was not very convincingly presented as freshly beaten. 2,5* So it is from the overall impression only for very good 4 stars. You can ask the kitchen unrestricted and it will certainly not have been our last visit to the Gellbersch House. Wine map: A small, well-stocked selection of open and bottled wines from cheap to medium price from Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Here, too, everyone should find the right drop to eat. We had, among other things, Weissburgunder Q.b.A. dry from the Pfirmann winery, Wollmesheim/Pfalz, Rosé Blauer Spätburgunder Rosé fineherb, Aigle, Daimery, France, a strong red with shares of Merlot and Cannaiolo and Riesling Riesling Kabinett fineherb vom Hank, a fine-fruited wine with subtle residual sweetness The open wines are calculated with an average of 6,00 € for 0.25l moderately. Other drinks: Crement Aperol 4,50 €, Espresso 2,20 €, 0,75l Mineral water 4,80 € Service: we unanimously felt the service as not just stunning, the welcome was friendly, the order intake only after approx. 10 minutes waiting time but rather tough and also the further service during the evening not very professionally attentive. Especially the youngest in the service team, which served us mainly, seemed somewhat uncertain. Both the order pick-up and the following service at the table screwed them with a reserved “bear only the evening already around” – Mimik, also a well-meaned joke to unwind her a smile, went to the void. Competence in wine also misdisplay, as the blonde colleague knew better and also whether everything was right, was asked by another operator in passing. Air is still up in the service area. There are still little masters from heaven, but here a little attention should be paid to the proper handling of the guests. Friendly, attentive, easy, flee and always with a smile you can learn. Not only good food, but above all good service are characterized by a gastronomy company. Ambiente The restaurant is conveniently located just minutes from the motorway junctions Nonnweiler and Braunshausen in the small village Buweiler in the Black Forest Hochwald. The former farm, after successful restoration with expertise and attention to detail, has been home to the “Gellbersch Hof” restaurant since 2010. The positive impression that the inn is awakening from the outside is continued inside. Low ceilings with exposed centuries-old oak beams – a slate table with the inscription “Preview Level Head” warns during the passage to the counter area, coarsely plastered walls, white and red tinted, a beautiful tile fireplace, appealing furnishing, a colorfully assembled mix of Art Nouveau and incubator, as well as the one or other as an eye-catcher in scenes. note."
